  1. I don't get it why in 1 everyone is killing a son. I prefer killing a father. For me, it's some kind of warning for him (like: See what happens to people like him, kid).
Also… I didn't killed him until 3 playthrough, because I never thought about this 😅
It's Night City, city of dreams… And terrible nightmares.

  2. I have no doubts on my feelings about the Voodoo Boys, they are xenophobic hateful abusive assholes. They use people, abuse people, and are disloyal to all outsiders. They tried to kill V. They get theirs every time now.
Although it may be interesting to see if Phantom Liberty makes any use of them in that storyline, because I enjoy wiping them out.

  3. The list being in order with #1 being the most horrific, and then it starts with Backs Against The Wall at #8 lol when I saw that I knew this would be an interesting list because that gig is already pretty gut wrenching. When I first heard that gun shot after I walked out of the room, I felt my heart sink.

The thing is, there is technically a way to keep Hare alive, at least in your head cannon. What you can do is equip Target Analysis to your Kiroshi so that your weapons won't be lethal and you can just incapacitate him and leave him unconscious.

  4. Can confirm, all those gigs are really impactful. Which is why I always recommend players to do the gigs too and read the conversations, email exchanges, shards, associated with them. It adds so much to the world building of the game.

I just wanna add in #3 about Jae-Hyun. If you scan him, you'll see that he's committed the R word. I've scanned many npcs in this game and I can only remember Royce and Jae-Hyun having that crime. Real pieces of shit.

In #1 I always end up killing the dad, but not his kid. In my head cannon, I feel like that kid would still continue their XBD business, but the dad's words "if we don't do it, somebody else will" stuck to me, and it's true, so I figured, it's better to have one of them as me and Regina's contact or at least we know of, so when a case like this happens again, it's easier to know where to go, and he's probably afraid of us now that we killed his dad. Letting him know that he always have to watch behind his shoulders.

  5. I'm surprised Monster Hunt didn't make the list. I know it's more of a feel good gig, and it's one I intentionally save for until after my build is complete on playthroughs so I can revel in the hunt itself, but it was also my first exposure to exactly how twisted this world is in my first playthrough. It's where it clicked. I stopped running non lethal after doing Monster Hunt, or more accurately, during.

  6. That Voodoo Boys email from the first one is meant to be spam. Identical emails can be found on most terminals around night city and V even gets one like 25% into the story.

  7. I love the last gig you mentioned since in the German voiceover both characters are spoken by Gronkh a fairly well know German Youtuber I watched a lot in my youth. Had to replay the mission to be sure but I knew the moment I played the quest the first time that the two voices seemed familiar. And low and behold, in the credits I saw his name and even later watched his Let's Play of Cyberpunk and he referenced his cameo. Cool touch for an old fan like me.

  8. Crazy fact about Jotaro: Near the location where you meet with Meredith and the Meat Factory. There is a parking lot with shipping crates guarded by Tiger Claws with Trafficked People locked inside the crates. You can free them and read a Not explaining deeper details on how they got there and also the story of a girl who died in the crate.

  9. I was able to "save" the vet who stole the meds by picking a fight with him and just knocking him unconscious. I did the same for Rose as well. The outcome was essentially the same but they were left alive.

  10. Regarding to GiG #3, I'm not 100% sure if it was related to this gig, but there're 2-3 shipping containers spread across the city that are used for human trafficking. And I failry remember that one of those containers is related to this gig.

As for #2, I guess it can be called distrurbing. Because it for sure left impact on me with completely unexpected ending. And is one of the gig chains I'm going to remember.

  11. In number 8, CDPR made it so you cant do a rear non-lethal takedown on the soldier with the stolen Baloperidol, you cant fire your weapons that are set to non-leathal, Cant give him an option of contacting Regina Jones for possible help (that would have been reasonable IMHO), and nothing you do can stop him from committing suicide.
You forgot the Gig-Guinea Pigs- for Dino (kill Joanne Koch) who experimented on 50? Aldecaldos who died as a result… you see more about her in one the NCPD missions in North Downtown where a reporter killed for investigating her., and the NCPD mission in the hills (near Arasaka house) where a dead girl who got the blame for Koch's experiment, by Koch herself, was trying to leave town and was killed.
I always kill Placide, Brigitte and all the VDBz in the church after getting out of the ice tub because…. there are tons of messages around town threatening to extort $ from people, they fried Elizabeth Parker, tried to flatline V, and no doubt would never have paid Parker and killed her instead so V would have gotten no $. Brigitte will promise to remove Johnny from V's head, with the right questioning prior to the ice tub and V busts her on lying to him at the Black Wall.
Scavs are an "always flatline", Wraiths a close second (do similiar organ/cyberware harvesting), the rest are up for V's services at NCPD missions mostly. And…I give V's special attention to Corp assassins like Militech Arasaka, and KangTao when they go after whistle blowers or anyone with evidence against them ( dead reporter at NCPD mission nearest Dino's Suicide GIG). Rescuing the cop in Cuckoos Nest is one of my favorites as having the Tactical enforcers protecting the asylum is especially satisfying when they are all dismembered (monowire). Its too bad CDPR made it so you cant do all the Gigs at the beginning instead of doling them out, so I cant do that gig until later in the game (used to be I would do it when they were Redskulls and that was challenging).
Whats interesting is that if you dont do any of the main missions (Ghost Town with Panam, Automactic Love- Judi, and Down on the Street-Takemura) you wont have your vision go wonky due to Johnny and can get to about lvl 45 just completing all gigs and NCPD missions. Looking at Night City after doing everything the city has changed and all the places where the gangs had dead bodies everywhere dissappears and the people are enjoying the area without fear. V has done in several weeks what the NCPD and MaxTac has failed to do in years, give people hope.

  12. Yep… there are a lot of disturbing things about what goes on in the 2077 world. I do kill Scavs on sight and wherever I encounter them, that and Tiger Claws usually as they were associated with Jotaro… who I let bleed out. I talked to MP a few weeks back about how society can get crazy. Maybe it starts with famine, war, lack of jobs, and education. But one thing is for sure, it's only because of the "Thin Blue Line" that we have peace in the streets, otherwise, it's total chaos and a breakdown of civility. We can already see this in today's society where Government officials have taken away or stripped the Police, usually in those towns crime, and homelessness have skyrocketed. I know because I live in Seattle and it went from normal, clean, and decent to high crime, high violence, and homeless everywhere rather quickly. SO the Gigs will happen here, just give it time for society to keep wrecking itself with Government corruption and Corpo greed.

  13. "Sinnerman" not even on the list? I was ready to bet this would be your number one on the list.
Or maybe you were just talking Regina-Gigs – in that case, the psycho-in-the-fridge would be my personal number 1.

  15. About number 3, there is an "Assault In Progress" Northeast of the Kabuki Market where you disturb a meting between Scavengers and Tyger Claws, you can free several innocents from containers, one died before you arrived, to me this look like you saved a few from Jatoro.
