From what I was told when I was talking to one of my buddies who's played this the big sniper rifles it's like a 50 cal putting a silencer on it is completely pointless and that's why it seems like they don't have barrel mod slots for those ones but if you get the smaller sniper rifles yeah you do less damage but you get the barrel mod slot and you also get more ammo per clip so it has its Fair trade-offs
