The Basilisk is ready. Panam calls V to let him know that they’ve constructed the Basilisk and he’s welcome to check it out at the Aldecaldos’ camp. Upon arriving, V is offered to ride along with Panam to test out the Basilisk. After a quick tutorial on how it operates, Panam suggests they test out the dual-synchronicity feature to take their relationship further. During an intimate moment, the Basilisk and the Aldecaldos’ camp is attacked by Raffen. V and Panam work together to decimate the attackers using the full potential of the Basilisk. Once things have settled, Saul requests Panam and him have a chat. Saul admits he was wrong and offers Panam a spot to help lead the Aldecaldos. Needing a moment to calm nerves, Panam and V sneak away to grab a drink. Here, Panam asks V if he would want to stay with her and travel with the ‘Caldos. Before he can answer, V passes out due to the Relic wreaking havoc in his head. V later wakes to Panam watching over him at the new ‘Caldos camp. He chooses to tell her what’s been happening and that he has things left to do. With an emotional farewell, the two parts ways.
