Supercar designer, Frank Stephenson, reacts the the vehicles from Cyberpunk 2077!

——-

Hi all…

You spoke and we listened…here is the video that was undeniable after the success of the GTA video that we recently released. This game pushes forward the traditional beauty of vehicle design but not in the future-tech way that I expected.

Enjoy!
Frank

  1. Hi everyone! What's your favourite vehicle to use in Cyberpunk 2077? I love that they keep a lot of traditional beauty in these imaginings of future vehicles. What direction do you hope design goes in as we move toward the future?

  2. if the Makigai MaiMai was a real car, you could suffocate and die from your own fart. Especially if someone quick-hacked your doors and windows to locked

  3. It's really have been a great video as usually frank
And i can we see some of your opinions about some of motorcycle design, so a video full of a motorcycle that you like (or might we like) and you break down the design of it.
So anyway have a nice day sir, and stay safe.

  4. Love finding some quiet time to sit back with a drink and watch new videos from you Frank, and this was definitely no disappointment. Given how much of the retrofuture vibe in Cyberpunk 2077 probably stems from Syd Mead's 1960's and 70's designs, I wonder if down the road there might be a mod – or perhaps even officially-licensed CD Project project – that could throw Syd Mead cars in the game? There's definitely some Sentinel in that "Guinevere" and what could be cheaper transportation than those one-wheeled Segway-like vehicles Syd loved to throw in his sketches of the future? Finally, a LOT of us wish that CD Projekt would have reached out to you, Frank, and contracted you to design a retro futuristic version of some of your vehicles! How would you do 2077 Brutalist versions of your well-resolved, organic and (frankly, Frank) pretty cars???

  6. This Makigai Mai Mai at 6:40 is a futuristic representation of one of the most iconic cars that people drove in Poland at the end of the XX century. It's called Fiat 126p and the developers admitted that it was the inspiration for this car.
