  1. Vortex is complete garbage and convoluted for anyone who has a PC with more than 1 storage.

First time instal for any mod is straightforward so long as it's on the same drive as your game, but once you start updating, the files start going in different places, override with each other, some files become incompatible etc. and vortex starts creating launch errors – and you have no idea which files are the problem.
I've encountered way too many issues with Vortex than I should for a simple pilot program.

The best way to instal mods is just using WinRAR, extract your files to the mod file in your cyberpunk folder and you're done. Delete those files and do the same process when there's an update or you just want to get rid of it.

  2. I stg I was excited to do this but now two hours after being so incredibly frustrated looking at different videos I still can’t get this shit to work. Fuck mods I’ll just play vanilla I’ll figure this bs out another day. I swear on my life I thought I did everything correct but that thing for the keybind never popped up for me when booting up the game. I just don’t understand it when I go to my mod files on vortex it says they’re all enabled and ready to go. So idk I’ll try red engine tmr I guess but fuck me why can’t installing mods ever go smoothly for me.

  3. Alright but you didn't show how to set the mod folder because vortex wants me to find the folder that contains the exe but there is no exe in the cyberpunk folder only the launcher so where do i set the folder for vortex
