My honest review of Cyberpunk 2077 after not having played it since it’s first year of release.
Huge shoutout to @benjamin_winters for letting me use his clips!

  1. I played this game when it first game out as well I managed to beat it but there were a shit ton of bugs like you said. I will say the anime saved this game as I mean in changed the perception of it. The devs definitely have worked out a lot of issues it seems like tho.

  2. I bought game for the first time last week and already played through the campaign twice. It’s such a good game and it got me into the world of cyberpunk. I even bought a copy of the og Cyberpunk 2020 pen and paper game and started a play through with some friends. It’s a great world to get lost in. Also on a side note was the intro music from the early 2000s movie ads like “ you wouldn’t steal a car” or something?

  3. Ive put nearly 1k hours into this game and have never ran into half the issues from this video from xbox one to pc. The biggest issue is pop ins and load times

  4. I bought and played it when it came out, had some minor bugs like palm trees bending into the street and some graphic glitches. The most gamebreaking bugs where one side mission I could not end and a cyberpsycho that never appeared.
If I can trust the hotfixes and updates, it should be a pretty good game now, I plan on playing it again after the DLC releases in september … if I have time between Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield (if it´s any good)

  5. It's a weird case of honestly being one of my favorite games of all time, but also oddly needing more flesh on the bones in some parts. Some of what they teased for the 2.0 patch definitely fits the bill for everything I wanted in the game. Aside from more activities in NC that aren't just gigs. I'm hoping the release of PL and 2.0 will add a lot of life to the game. At launch it felt rough, even on PC, but since the 1.5 patch, it's a damn good time even with some of the odd bugs.

  6. hey uh i didn’t have any of those glitches on ps5 sure it was something funny (i.e a enemy glitching through a couch) but rendering wasn’t a issue for me so it might just be something on your end cool video tho

  7. The story of cyberpunk sorta paralleled the pacing of the game like the tarot cards that pop up in the ways they do in the story. Or the way the quests play out with the life paths. The way game launched was CDPR drawing the fool card and depending on how you felt about it you drew the other cards in tarot. But now with Phantom Liberty this is there last chance in 2023 to prove they weren't all just smoke and mirrors.

  8. I wasn't hyped, but I did expect the game to actually work on the hardware that was available when they made the game, or would that of been to much for CDPR to actually consider.
Yes the game is amazing now and the story and characters you meet are also really amazing and interesting.
So yes the game is worth playing in 2023, but more so if you have a PC, less so if your on even the Newest Console, you will not get the same experience as PC players. Makes me even more certain that CDPR only made this game for consoles just to rake in the extra money and deliver console players a less than optimised experience.
Why isn't there mods for consoles, like other games, is it the fact that CDPR doesn't want to make the effort for the console community.
