  1. I think playing this game is a wonderful experience if you aren't expecting it to start a religion or change your real life.

We all know how high the bar was set by CDPR and their 145 million dollar (let that sink in) marketing campaign. But overly high expectations can ruin perfectly good experiences in any aspect of life, like marriage, none the less video games.

I bought the game for $30 and had a credit from the seller so the game was "free" and just to own the physical copy with steel book case was cool enough. The game was version 1.2 by then and I experienced almost no bugs.

Even as a tech demo with HDR on my PS4 Slim it looked pretty amazing. So with these expectations I have been able to appreciate just how great this game can be and is on an older console.

Missions have been mostly AAA quality and exciting and I'm no where near the 50% mark. But it's the side gigs that open up the city. I plan to do all the side gigs and other activities with a main mission thrown in here and there.

I don't think I would have even found some parts of the city without doing these fixer gigs. I might have looked up or askew and thought I was seeing literal in game window dressing, and walked on by.

Someone loved this game. Some developer(s) cried when it was released early and were broken hearted to see all the hate and vitriol from players early on. You can see how much time and skill was put into it if you walk around and get lost, like most open world RPGs.

So for anyone who sees this and hasn't purchased Cyberpunk 2077, do so now. Take your time with it. Walk around and take pics. Get into trouble. Run away when you are low level and laugh when you die from turning the wrong corner. You'll be back.
