So this one was a long time coming. I’ve had this one cooking for a while and I’m glad to finally get it out at a decent time. It was tricky working on this one as I was moving to a new apartment when I edited this video. But now I’m settled in and ready to get more shit done.

  1. At release i was a dissapointed. Not because of the bugs or the performance. On my PC it ran relativly good. But the game wasn't what i have expected. I somehow has expected more of an Deus Ex game and not a bad GTA copy. But after i accepted the game for what it was i really liked it. The atmosphere was great. I can't wait for future story dlcs so i can play this game in an improved version again.

  2. I played this game on ps4(old ahh ps4 too) and ngl I had hella fun. Idk if my ps4 was just blessed or what but I cant remember any game breaking or distracting bugs I had one side quest that was broke and didn't allow me to complete the objective which sucks but other than tht if u ignore the good cut content we could've had, the trash A.I in the open world like how cops don't chase you then you can really get sunken into this world and it's gameplay, plus I got hella hours in and still got a refund so maybe tht made my experience bliss but i doubt it. that doesn't excuse CDPR at all tho

  3. In the father, son braindance mission you can kill the npcs. I shot the son and left the father crying. I wasn't expecting that. This game does have its moments. They are few and far between though.

  4. Sandstorm traffic challenge ( Cyberpunk 2077 ) .. search this video. there is no other game where you can do this while feeling awesome at the same time.

  5. Its not the game script that fails, the character depth, music, acting…all of it gave us material to the best game ever. Thats the big problem. The potencial lost! I still want to know more about night city, about all those characters and I would love a sequence just to know what happened after we finish the game. But we can not forgive the lack of commitment of CDPR heads with players and developers.

  6. I didn’t get it when it released even tho I planned on it and after all the reviews came in, I was glad I didn’t…. Around May 2021, I saw it was available for purchase on Xbox for 30% and thought ehh fuck it, even if everyone is saying it’s not worth purchasing MAYBE I should give it a try and I’ve got to say, following my instincts was the best choice I could’ve made…tho it was buggy, I’ve gotta say I enjoyed the hell out of the experience and even if I knew the game needed to be fixed first, I still wanted more after I saw that cutscene with me and Panam riding off into AZ…. The game had potential to be one of the greatest games ever and probably still can be….I hope that upcoming expansion isn’t all that’s coming because so much more immersion can be brought into this game, if they’re dropping redengine for unreal engine 5 then I hope they could at least port cyberpunk to it to make this game the RPG it was hyped up to be

  7. I'm at @14:15 right now and I hope you bring up the fact that the main plot is ruined by the fact you've got time to even explore all of these great character interactions.

I'll say this til I'm blue; Johnny Silverhand was not a good character to make the plot surround.

  8. Man, Night City is hands down the best map in gaming. Even with all the shortcomings and “cut content”. No other game comes close except maybe Area 18 in Star Citizen. I NEED MOAR STORY TO TAKE PLACE THERE!!!

  9. Male Vs voice sucks in my opinion he is overacting you actually can hear it most the times sometimes his voice changes a few times and when it does it's good but I can't finish the game as male V because of his voice.

  10. The unfortunate thing is that any percieved slight by gamers becomes an unforgivable sin. The game improved over time and is legitimately great now. But the launch state mixed with the youtube algorithm rewarding negativity in all forms of review and commentary made this game untouchable to alot of impressionable gamers. And it is a shame cause it is definitely a one of kind experience. But I'm glad this game has a loyal community around it.

Dude, it already has. On PC, arguably the only platform that can run the damn thing, it's only maintained 2% of its total playerbase, which is dropping every day. CD Projekt RED's stock collapsed immediately following the release and continues to plummet. This game sucked so much shit and had so many undelivered promises that it has left a once highly respected and successful AAA game development firm on the brink of bankruptcy.

The devs got too big for their britches after Witcher 3, jumped in way over their heads, made way too many promises that anyone with eyes and two braincells saw were never going to be kept, and then fell flat on their face. It's the only game to EVER be removed from the PlayStation game store because it was so awful and poorly made that Sony refused to sell it until the devs pulled their shit together.

The niche clan of fanboys may want this game to "never fade" but I'm sure everyone involved in the creation, both on the financial AND creative sides, go to bed every night wishing it never even happened in the first place.

  12. Glad to see we’ve reached a point in talking about 2077 beyond it’s many bugs and issues on launch and actually get into more substantial areas of analysis for its writing and story.

  13. While I will never defend how this game was initially released, I will always defend the game itself (after being patched properly of course). I have poured over 900 hours into this, and I absolutely love getting lost in Night City. I love the setting, love the characters and I love the neon soaked streets.

  14. If it didn't 'fade away' it's not because of how it was 'a thing of beauty' but because of how it came out like a wet fart that left a permanent stain on every gamers soul.
A shitstained engram formed in our collective psyche we'll carry to our grave.

  15. This game often gets criticized for being "a pretty aestetic with no substance", which in some regard is true as it doesnt have GTA levels of interactions or minigames. But what sets this game apart from its rivals in my opinion is that its vibe just sucks you in like no other game that I have ever played. Sure GTA is awesome and sure RDR2 is gripping and immersive but for me no game other than Cyberpunk has this ability of making the player care about its world and its characters. Maybe im just a sentimental POS but no other game has made me happy and melancholic, laugh and cry quite like this one. CDPR sure knows how to create emotion and atmosphere.

  16. I loved the game finished it 3 times with diff builds, I only found the boxing mission as a problem as it forced me to invest in fists for the gorilla arms to be effective, that's the only way I found to beat the mission, those points could've gone somewhere else for min max

  17. I got it on Series X when it launched and never had any issues in over 300 hours I put into it. Calling it an absolute mess is completely wrong. I'm not sure how people manage to break these games, maybe don't expect it to be perfect on some old gen system?

  18. Excellent video, man! If you had a higher quality mic, one that captured more body of your voice and less of the sound of your room, this would be up there with THE BEST retrospective videos available on YouTube.

Frankly, your narration and script are perfect, as is your editing of the video.

I hope you can get a better mic, one more deserving of your extremely evident talent at making videos like this.

    Oh, and, subscribed.

  19. I've been playing this game since day one, ofc the experiences are not so enjoyable because of bugs and glitches even on PC, but I never thought that the settings, stories, quests, and atmospheres were bad hell it even exceeds my expectations also the ending hits really hard, truly a masterclass from CDPR
