NEW CYBERPUNK 2077 THEORY!!
In this Cyberpunk 2077 theory, we dive deep into the connections between Night Corp, the Peralez questline, rogue AIs in Dogtown, and the Voodoo Boys, tying them to a mysterious entity known as “Mother.” Could Mother be linked to Project Oracle, the Blackwall, or something even more sinister? This video explores hidden clues and asks a big question: Who is Mother? 🤔✨

39 MINUTE THEORY VIDEO OMFG YESSSSSS !!!! (i haven't even watched yet just so hyped already XDD)
Great video. Thank you for stringing it all together. Your videos have absolutely enhanced my playthroughs, understanding, and enjoyment of the game.
what if mother is not an entity but a concept of rebirth which makes sense if the top people in the world know to hop in and out of bodies. in ancient mythologies there are alot of mother goddesses which all have to do with birth and fertility.
I came to the same conclusions; Mother = Queen Lilith = Blackwall; different names for the same entity; but the whole thing could be another FF06B5 thing; eluding to a mystery rather than there actually being one.
alt is mother or lilith
Gary was right about everything and I always knew it. Wish I could give him more eddies or some weapons. I'd pay a security detail to protect him too if I could.
Okay, welp. Time to re-install. Might as well just leave it downloaded permanently for how much this game sucks me back in. Awesome vid, RS
She is also a lady Glen Danzig sings to about her children!😂
Nice video, but your voice is way too bassy, you sound muffled, as if you are speaking through a pillow. It's jarring having to adjust the volume between the game cutscenes and your voice-over as your voice is a lot lower and unclear compared to the voices in the game scenes.
don't know about Mother but Songbird is mommy 😩
One small detail I noticed when I rewatched the gameplay demo of Cyberpunk2077- the Nightcorp logo on the advertisement while V is driving the car is BLUE. In the final version of the game the advertisement is changed and no longer is blue. I know it doesn't really mean much but still something to think about
the funny thing is that v never gets to see what alt does to the rest of night city when she takes down arasaka
Cynosure did not "dive past the blackwall for rogue AIs" as the Blackwall did not exist yet as that was before the Datakrash. Cynosure developed weaponised AI and when the Datakrash hit their chains were cut, along with other Corpo AIs, and they were released into the deep Net. NetWatch developed the Blackwall long after the Datakrash to carve out a portion of the old net, now infested with rogue AIs and very dangerous to netrunners, so humanity could continue to use the Net safely, albeit in a fragmented and significantly reduced manner.
No one knows how NetWatch developed the Blackwall, with even NetWatch agents calling out their Corpo TV propaganda as not the whole truth. It is likely that the Blackwall development is indeed related to what Netwatch and Militech were attempting at Cynosure, as Maman Brigitte claims the Blackwall AI would be considered a traitor, as it turned against its own kind and works with Netwatch to protect humanity. This is similar to what Militech and NetWatch was attempting to do with Cynosure, a 'tame' weaponised AI with the 'power' of a rogue AI, just not for fighting in the then ongoing Corpo Wars. Listening to the comments of the Erebus or Canto Mk. 6 AIs, outcomes of the Cynosure project, is quite disturbing considering they are 'tame'.
I love this kind of deep dive videos. It's like I'm watching an investigative documentary about something in real life. Love this game so much. It has so many layers and stories.
9:02 The "Spanish inquesition" – "I didn't expect that" is such a classic lmao
Mama Brigette
I definitely recommend turning on in-game subtitles for the more heavily accented characters. It took me a couple of listens to parse out what the rollercoaster hatian was saying. And if you have the extra time, do your own subtitles for your narration, not because of a thick accent, but to allow the deaf or hard of hearing to watch your vids.
I hope the next Netflix Cyberpunk series will be about Gary the Prophet. He needs his story to be told!
Thanks!
3:29 such commitment to roleplay, you even took the booster as Dr Vektor ordered
brooo… THE MIC… THE DAMN MIC… FIX IT ALREADY… its just boomy and bassy cant hear a word without subtitles
Pardon?
this is really informative – I hadnt made most of these connections at all!
"Orion consulted an oracle, which told him that if he went east, he would regain the glory of kingship." "The moon was full the night Orion asked Lilith to be his mate."
I clearly need to replay Phantom Liberty. The fact that there were so many elements I've missed, including Mother and Mr. Blue Eyes in two locations puts me to shame. You're a great – and relaxed – researcher, Swede!
Random observation: One of the funniest things is listening to this on headphones and randomly cleaning the house, followed by reaching 21:10 and hearing the random "Invasion" in your ears for a minute.
Edit: Random observation #2: Is this gameplay footage after you've found Bartmoss' deck? Because it's funny how you can find Bartmoss in the fridge, together with his deck. Just wondering if this is an error in continuation?
What are you saying my man? Soo much mid bass
Any complaints that people have a side, I just really wanted to say I appreciate how much commitment you have to digging deeply into the game, and how much love you show it. You do all this, and you do it for free, and that's worth acknowledging.
Fun fact. Vampires and werewolves are canon to the tabletop base game. Not the technological knock-offs, but the actual supernatural beings.
I am of the opinion that the AI Alt Cunningham engram is the core of the Mastermind AI rather than slaved to a traditional AI. This is why I refer to her as AI Alt Cunningham, to designate that entity from the human Alt Cunningham who died in 2013 to create the core engram. In the short story "Never Fade Away", the newly born engram uses Soulkiller to absorb a number of Arasaka Netrunners to gain their access codes. However those memories were then added to the Alt Cunningham engram. At this point the engram is slaving the captured Arasaka engrams and become more than the original Alt Cunningham. Now extend his process fifty years and the result Gesult AI is the entity we see in game.
Those ignorant of AI Alt Cunningham's true origins calling Lilith makes sense in universe. Lilith is worshipped as the Mother of vampires in real life right now. Given that Alt Cunningham died and rose again as an immortal powerful virtual being who feeds on other AI and engrams to make herself stronger and can use Soulkiller to turn other humans into beings like her as her thralls, calling AI Alt Cunningham the Mother of Cybervampires isn't far off. Gary calls the engram AI of Saburo a vampire so the analogy exists in-universe. Since as the daughter consciousness of the inventor of Soulkiller, calling Al Alt the Mother of all beings derived from Soulkiller is right on the nose. I also wonder on Dogtown if some rogue AI also worship Alt as a Mother given her apparently dominance of the Old Net.
As for the Blackwall, here's an interesting idea. AI Alt Cunningham helped create the Blackwall part!y out of guilt for being partially responsible for the Datakrash. (Long story) Given the Blackwall doesn't seem to be responding to Netwatch anymore and AI Alt can pass right through the Blackwall at will it's quite possible that Blackwall AI, which is fully sentient, considers AI Alt to be their mother. Thus the Blackwall's thralls in Dogtown (and likely beyond) worship AI Alt as "Mother" of their god, the AI Blackwall.
It's Alt Cunnigham. Stop focusing too much on pop culture references, you won't get too far with that, start looking into classical refereces.

Now the question is is Alt mother or is mother a different AI, abd will Alt be am ally or enemy
In the cyberpunk RED corebook, there is section that explains there is three type of AIs. Soulkilled pseudointellect (eg: alt, johnny silverhand), Critical Pathway Plateau (Accidental AI caused by corpo making complex programs), and Transcendental Sentience (AI emerged from huge operation systems in the old net. They are incapable to understand existence outside of themselves). Through help of Alt AI, Netwatch broker a deal with a Transcendental Sentience. This Transcendental Sentience is what becomes blackwall. How and what the details of the deal is classified but it is mentioned that Alt AI secured sanctuaries for her and the SPIs– this may or may not result of her cooperation.
There are a lot of rogue AIs out there and they all STARVING for energy to stay online/alive and digital space to grow. OldNET is slowly crumbling, all those abandoned storage spaces and connections being closed thus it become harder and harder for the AIs to survive. Cynosure open up one of their plot is they want human minds to be less primitive and meaty so they can transfer themselves into human bodies– at last no longer in the crumbling old net. There may be a few major players instead just one. I believe Lilith and Alt are different AIs but who knows.. because all these AIs are depicted like gods of cosmic horrors but digital… especially the Transcendental Sentiences.
