  1. My problem is the monowire's damage is from reflexes, but gives streetbrawler xp, which is in strength. So unlike mantis blades, you need to spec in both equally, where as for gorilla/mantis, you only need to spec enough to get the perks you want

  2. I wanted to make a character using gorilla arms just because their description says they can open locked doors, but they NEVER added that functionality (and may have even removed that description from the game).

  3. the monowire deals less damage the more you use it because its a stealth weapon. you charge it up then instakill enemies with the stealth bonus. its dps isnt great, but it has the highest individual damage per hit of any weapon in the game.

It should also double as a grappling hook.

  4. It's a year later and I only started playing post 1.5 but I'm a huge fan of monowire. The range is great and is great for dismemberment. I've found It's power attack to be wanting but those fast sideways slices lop off arms, legs, and heads really well. It is especially vicious in stairwells and other enclosed areas where its AOE is greater than the hallway. You can just chop up everybody in front of you. Granted, i tend to use it as a secondary weapon, though.

  5. I played all of them except the launch system. In 1.6 the Monowire seems to be the strongest with 3k dps and aoe dmg on legendary. Its at a point where its fucking boring to fight with because u kill a group of enemies in one swing…

  6. So I have used mono wire throughout my play through and it actually was strong I thought but I guess I need to try the rest to actually say whether they are strong or not

  7. The Projectile launch system is so inconsistent. Most of the time it barely does any damage to enemies and they are not higher level then me and Im using the legendary one with perks. I don't get it lol the only consistent weapon in the game that always kills enemies is my Satori with maxed out crit chance to 40%. Everything else is just random in this game damage wise.

  8. Quick update for anyone seeing that: Monowire was buffed to heavens by being brought from blunt weapon to blade weapon. Now it deals absolute tons of damage with tons of range, dismembering everyone on the go. It's now more powerful than Mantis Blades both for multiple enemies and for one enemy. It doesn't mean Blades are trash tier now. They are not. They are still great. It just means Monowire is even better.

  9. man this is the only game ive ever played where ive had moments of 30+ minutes of not being able to play the game because of bugs like the part where takemura takes you out of the dump and you are meant to shoot at the guys on motorcycles and your gun doesnt load 7 times in a row so you cant shoot at them and die i genuinely dont know how cd went from witcher 3 to this
