  1. Just started playing this game for the first time – I waited a couple years so the game would have time to finish 'cooking'. Already 75 hours in, can't put it down. Excited for new content!

  2. So, I got basically a little bit past the Into/Heist at the beginning of the game before I shelved it in favor of holding out for some patches when it came out. Still haven't had the chance to dive in yet, but it is on my list. On the one hand, I would like the game to get a good level of support and get fleshed out to end on a high note. On the other hand, I do also want to see them get to a solid end point as quickly as possible so that work towards a sequel, spinoff, etc. can begin. Mostly so that they can start from a fresh foundation and try again, hopefully learning from their mistakes. I want CP2077 to be salvaged as much as possible, but there is only so much you can do with a game once it's established before you reach the limitation of what you can implement.

  3. Side note: if memory serves right, the valuation of CDPR ballooned in the year or two prior to the launch of CP2077 due to the hype and marketing. While taking a 75% hit is DEFINITELY a major hit, there's no denying it, I would be interested in seeing comparisons between where it's at now, where it was at at the peak, and what it was like a year or two prior.

  4. I'd rather have a large update, and a solid DLC to complete some of the side stories for good.

It's better than dragging the game out until everyone hates it, like GTA 5 with GTA Online.

  5. Really wanted multiplayer, it's up to the Skyrim together peeps at this point. Modders can carry this game but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I have no interest in The Witcher series.

  6. I'm a console player (PS5), and I put off buying Cyberpunk to see if it passed the test of longevity, since its release didn't sound promising.

I'm still not impressed enough to waste getting emotionally invested in it until they're done prodding the meat to see if it's cooked to their satisfaction.

  7. About the expansion being the last project on red engine before shifting to ue5: if cyberpunk gets remastered from red engine to ue5, would that seem feasible? Would it be too much effort, or would it make sense? Because if that's the case, they could just create the other expansions they planed then.
