  1. it gives me joy to kill gangoons, its the sweetest thing there is. if you never pass up a chance to kill a random ganger, you'll find lots of capacity shards. same with black lace mk.3, my love of killing has gotten me so much loot.

  2. What i don't get is, if CDPR wanted to keep the max cyberware at around 320-330 why the hell is the actual cap is around 500, hell some people say they get 700. No one is going to get to 500 by the time they finish the game.

CDPR should just point out to player what the actual capacity is.

Also btw infinite damage builds are already very much doable with 300 capacity. You just equip apoge sandevistan and every build becomes infinite damage.

  3. Its a bit weird that most shards stopped dropping (at around 320 with perk). Only the skill xp shards drop for me now from enemies and only carry capacity shards from air drops. Ive been adding a cyber capacity shard using the console every time I loot an airdrop now. If its a softcap its definitely capped a bit too hard. No gradually getting more rare, just stopped

  4. I´m at 318 including +66 capacity increased by perks. I´m done with the dlc, around half of the gigs and maybe 40% of the story and sidemissions and I still get to loot them. They are rare though. (Playing on PC)

  5. Once I got to 366 cyberware capacity with the perks and the cyberware compressor, shards stopped dropping. Must have killed a thousand enemies since then and still got nothing (getting more components now instead). I'm guessing your theory around a cap is about right. Besides, once you cross the 400 cyberware capacity limit with console given shards etc, game UI starts getting weird. Cyberware limit bar disappears and reappears, sometimes it looks empty etc. Could just be a bug, but personally, it made me think that they weren't expecting anyone to cross that threshold.

  6. Started the dlc with my lv50 build, levelled to 60, got the extra capacity for the levels, plus the 2 perks and the one guaranteed shard I found in the parking garage.

    Equals out to 286 capacity.

I have NEVER seen a single shard. ZERO. NEVER! This is bullshit.

  7. am over 50 hours into my playthrough and i have not seen a single cyberware capacity shard.
They just dont drop at higher levels. This is either a bug or an oversight. as you level up lower rareity items stop dropping, cyberware shards are uncommon.
At higher levels you wont get them anymore.
The only exception would be garuenteed drops such as the miniboss in Dogtown

  8. I have the opposite problem! I never even knew about them until 15 minutes ago. Just hit 20 tech and unlocked edgerunner, excitedly ran to Vic to max out my cap, and after like 30 minutes carefully getting it to excactly 50+ I ran off to try fury. 5 minutes later I'm 2 under cap, and 5 minutes after that 4 under. Now I'm 6 under and this time I actually registered the shard text, and sure enough it said cyberware capacity shard. So thats 3 of them in 15 minues. Just killing random scrub around Vic's clinic. Will they just keep dropping until the entire cyberware capacity bar is full?? Highly annoying, I want the highest chance of fury proccing as possible

  10. They are bugged and broken on certain saves. I can confirm this. Some gauranteed drops on enemies no matter my capacity, but not on other saves with more capacity. The ones were they do not drop are premade PL characters that start at level 15. Both level 45 characters tested, same capacity even at times.
