  1. Can people stop crying police system? Seriously… Its not going to make the game that much better. Go play GTA or NFS Most wanted if you thirst for police. It makes no sense for V to be constantly chased by police and is incredibly immersion breaking.

A chase system in general is what would make the game more immersive. Gang ambushes, not police.

  2. I seriously don't understand why people are sad, and saying things like "RIP Cyberpunk", etc. It's not that big of a deal. It really doesn't take too much to fix the content problem in cyberpunk. All the game needs is better police AI, more customization, more open world events/activities, NG+, and more gigs/mercenary jobs to earn more eddies, and better replay value. Half of those things I just listed can literally be accomplished before the expansion even drops. We only just got into the 2nd quarter of 2022. Q1 2023 is literally almost a year from now, and just because the expansion is the last project for REDengine, it doesn't mean it's the last update for cyberpunk overall. CDPR has stated "expect no less content than the witcher 3", and they have also stated that cyberpunk will still receive support after the release of the expansion. They know that the expansion has to be good, especially if they want the witcher 4 to sell good, which is probably the exact reason why they're releasing the expansion in Q1 2023. CDPR said that they want cyberpunk to sell for years to come, so have a little damn faith in the company, even if it is pretty hard to after everything that has happened.

  3. You can tell CDPR is trying to move on hard from this messed up game. They literally dropped their own engine and barely updated this game And one expansion tells me they are trying to drop this like a hot potato

  4. i now regret buying 2077.
i was expecting big things from them.
there was so much hype about this game before it came out.
    about dlc etc.
i wont be buying another game from them until they satisfy me on this one.
they can switch engines and make a new witcher idc.
wont be buying it,because they left 2077 hanging.
and i no longer trust them.

  6. CDPR sanctioned mod support is the only option to keep Cyberpunk alive post the one and done expansion. Yes this will be PC only, (no Bethesda-style Console mod support will be happening), but Cyberpunk 2077 is really a blank canvas that a thriving mod community could turn into something special with quest content to tide fans over for the 7+ years until we see a sequel. You only have to look at Bethesda titles to see what mods can do, entire fully voiced questlines, characters, world spaces etc – the sky is the limit.
Mind you, CDPR say a lot of stuff and most of it never sees the light of day – but if they want to maintain some sort of long term fan base for this franchise, they need to step up and deliver those tools…

  7. In my Opinion im glad they still updating and fixing things. If you felt like i was back in 2018 bought Battlefield V Multiplayer games and EA just Drop and said "this is fucked" lets just move on to next Battlefield, you would know CD project is better on this one at least still updating

  8. CP2077: a game who’s full potential was held back behind unfulfilled promises and poor decision making. Piss poor communication too.

“More expansions than the Witcher” they said 🤡.

  9. My guess is they simply ran out of time to further develop CP2077. They spent over a year fixing the game to bring it to a release state, time that was supposed to be spent developing additional content. Eventually you have to move onto other projects, unfortunate as that is for a game that deserved better. It’s the proper decision from a management perspective to keep things on track, ironic since it was poor management that put CP2077 in the state it was released in. Maybe this is a sign that CDPR is taking project management more seriously, which is ultimately a good thing for everyone. Best just to look forward to what’s to come with optimism, hope, and maybe crossed fingers for good measure.

  10. so pretty much it'll be 5 -7 yrs before another cyberpunk game comes out….shame I really loved the world :/. But if this means they will be moving on to an engine that is easier to develop for it's a smart move, I mean look at how much some of Bethesdas games suffered sticking to a bad engine.

  11. It's the price of progress. As newer and shinier things gets discovered, the older and duller gets left behind. As I said before, I'm disappointed there only will be one expansion, but I understand their decision to move on to UE.

  12. They absolutely need a new game plus mode. I do not understand what is so hard about getting this out. Just allow us to restart the game over with all our stuff. What’s the hold up?

  13. This was always CDPR's biggest flaw post launch for me:
that in their communications to players they never shifted to a humble position. They got so used to being the audience sweethearts with The Witcher 3 that they just kept going with never owning their mistakes. So they slipped from under the rug a lot of undesired information like this. They can't say "my mistake" and go on from there

  14. Wow. Smh. I was hoping they were going to try and make things right (as much as they could considering the limitations). I doubt one expansion will cover the scope of what could really help and enhance the game in it's current state. This game could have been legendary. Now I sort of wish I hadn't followed the game, and kept any hope of them truly making good on their promises. I'll see what the expansion has to offer but my expectations are low and maybe my interest to an extent. They keep shooting themselves in both feet.

  15. If there’s only one expansion and they aren’t going to bring the game up to the level originally promised through the dlc content, including the “Witcher level expansions” I’m out.
IF that is how this plays out and they break another promise then I am done supporting this previously beloved studio all together.

  16. I believe they killed Cyberpunk 2077 IP's all the franchise potential with that infamous disastrous launch. There's almost no hype for this IP left. So instead of spending time and money to an almost dead game with lots of major problems, it's clear that they're focusing on the new The Witcher game that actually excite people. I don't think we'll hear any news for a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel for a very long time, maybe never, because nobody will hype for that anymore.
