My showcase and guide on the Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing Cyberpunk 2007 mod by SammiLucia and Xerme. This mod provides a wide range of quality options for Path Tracing, ranging from better performance to better visual quality. It also brings a unique Ray Tracing with Path Tracing feature, which layers path traced effects over ray tracing to achieve a hybrid RT and PT look, without costing nearly as much performance as full path tracing.

Not sure you are a mere mortal on a 7900 xtx lol
i'd really like to thank @KrushSG for his professionalism and thoroughness in his video production process. Krush you are a top-tier YouTuber and teacher, helping us even find and track down some persistent bugs throughout your process 💕
I have run this mod on my 2060 RTX and it causes the game to stutter a lot. It even caused the game to crash at one point. I don’t think this might is for everyone my friend.
Unfortunately my 1080ti has to sit the hell down for this one haha but I appreciate your vid Krush. This is almost Digital Foundry production quality with the Cyberpunk emphasis thrown in.
cdpr must be taking notes at this point lol
What Quadra mod are you using? With the speedometer displayed on the windshield.
Thank you for a great content! You are at the top of the cyberpunk youtube nowdays!
And Thanks a lot to SammiLucia for this great addition to the game and community! Without you, this game wouldn't be the same!😁
Man Preem LUT with Path Tracing looks incredible. Are you using the ENV as well?
I have to say you are extremely good in explaining how it all works while keeping it short and only talk only about the necessary things we need to know. I really like your format so to speak.
Krush omg thank you brotha’ this is 100% what I needed!! Thank you so much for your work here <3 we the people ask and you deliver! Timestamps <3
there is a new mod on nexus that promises 75 percent performance increase with PT on rdna 3 cards like the 7900 xtx

i will prefer HW specs used in that video which runs the game at the beginning and what i can expect from my HW collection but it's just my preference and it does not affect quality of your video (i know specs are in vid desc.) and also i am grateful you did it! amazing work!
So, apparently 2.12 broke this mod. Is this still true?
I reverted back to 2.11 and went back to using ULTRA PLUS fast 2.0 that was compatible with that version. It was the smoothest version for me that allowed me to run 4k with PAThTRACING on 4090 laptop smooth 60 to 70 fps.
All the others didn't give me boost in performance. and I heard 2.12 really gimped the mod.
Can I still get great performance with new patch?
You sir, know your stuff. Subbed. Great to see the work going on to make it a level playing field between gpu's
@KrushSG… Good sir, what is that "~~~~~AMD Custom Tweaks ini" you are running? I have the same XTX card as you and am curious if that ini is gpu or cpu related? Also, thank you for another concise video, and yes @SammiLucia is a machine!
So I'm still on CP 2.11 because i'm dreading my mods breaking so soon after sorta finalizing it. I will try to soon… once I finish Horizon Forbidden West.
But, what I found is that CP 2.11 turns off Ray Reconstruction everytime I boot the game. I have no checked if this si caused by UltraPlus's INI tweaks. Honestly didnt think of it.
So often what I had to do was enable RR in the in-game menu, and then disable NRD.
Again, I do not fault anyone here, as it could easily be an issue on my specific setup. but it is something I have noticed. So I suppose this is a note for everyone who needed to read this.
Other than that I am loving Ultra Plus. It's amazing. But I may have to make concessions on my LOD mods as the VRAM requirements for CP as a whole went up since 2.0. I used to be able to run Draw distance mods, paired with LOD mods, without ever hitting close to my Vrma limit, now.. I'm reaching that limit FAST. but I suppose an RTX 3080 10G is tight on some games at 1440P|
Though running the game in DLSS Balanced mode does help! The performance is also VERY solid considering i run RT-PT.. I gigured the PT would decimate my performance no matter how optimized it would be.
Great work Sammi!
Does this mod still makes rain nearly invisible?
Bombastically preem showcase as always Krush! Always look forward to your lighting/visual showcases choom!
I use an RX 6800, so I can't play with PT, but would this mod be useful just for PT on in photo mode? It seems to toggle with PT on/off in the game settings, but may require some tweaking?
BTW I think I'm going to try "Night City Lights" ENV lighting mod next. TheManualEnhancer just released a new White Sun Edition to make daylight have a more natural look, but the original version has a great Vanilla+ look. You may want to check it out too!
