My only problem with nova is background bloom is reduced too much and it sometimes gives the city a more metropolitan look than a cyberpunk look if only the bloom could be increased , the only way i know how is to use prod bloom in reshade . The lut also really emphasizes that grainy look in raster so i have to switch on ray tracing 😢.Greaf vid tho put the pros and cons very well
Just installed it It's a very good-looking mod thanks for the recommendations I'm waiting for fsr 3 to play the game again with rt paired with this mod
LUT is OK… but did u see NCLM natural californian light mod?
the white color looks really white
not too green and the black color not too dark
Love this showcase/review! Thank you for making it.
I was hoping to get an update out before Christmas but I got distracted with family events. The next update addresses the green issue, among a few other color changes, and the ENV is being revised to fix bright nights and fog/bloom. After that, weather!
Thanks for the comparison.
I'm not sure I'd call this natural/realistic – it looks like a cross between GITS and NCLM. A lot of the comparison shots look too 'white', like the saturation has been turned down and the brightness/contrast tweaked to try to compensate – I think this is what you were referring to as a 'cooler' color palette. I think I prefer NCLM, but I still wouldn't use either NCLM or Nova as both seem to ruin the colour of the sky, making it way more magenta-toned.
I combined Nova LUT and GITS fuji it looks absolutely insane even without any RT ive got in running on a 2060 Super.
Hey folks! For those who feel the environment and other lighting tweaks makes things a little too clean for you, I recommend trying Nova LUT in combination with the extremely popular NCLM mod, it's a great combination too. Nova LUT is listed as a recommended alternative LUT on the NCLM mod page itself.
For a idea of how NCLM looks like I have a video comparing it with a few other mods(though using Nova LUT with it will change the colors of NCLM to what you see in this video).

Yeah I seriously don't know why nearly every game has some BS blue or green and sometimes yellow filters on everything… You would think when they try to make a game with realistic graphics they would try to match real life colour tones and textures.
I really dislike texture seams on roads and buildings, edgy looking gutters, awful colour filters. Fake HDR, vignette or anything like it, motion blur…
Just unrealistic shapes or filters that take you out of the immersion of the game, it's like trying to imitate real like and then throwing cell shading or a comic book effect over everything
I'm just really loving GITS Fuji with PHANTOM ViSUALS Reshade at the moment. It just looks amazing on my 42" LG C2. Looks very realistic at times. Might make a video showcasing it in HDR. It's so good.
Nice Showcase! Thank you for your hard work 🙂
I can’t use anything other then NCLM, literally gave the game new life
Another fantasitic vid as always Krush. We are all really loving and appreciating your work showing everything off thats been worked on so hard. Keep it up bro. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.
amazing video sir can combine this nova lut with NCLM ligthing mod.
It looks more sharper and clear nice comparison.
Would you do a guide for what steps/ downloads you take to get from vanilla to your showcase end result.
Not sure if I am doing things wrong but my downloads though vortex end up looking a lot worse even though I have similar specs .
i really don't like it lol. Takes away all of the ambiance and character/tone of the city. It looks so cold and sterile like a doctors office
It's very pretty. A little blue for me at times. I'm a Neon Genesis Atacama man myself, but I love how easy it is to switch and I'll definitely check it out. Huge respect for the mod author breaking it into parts, that's just user friendly.
How is this compare to gits fuji?
Vanilla looks so much better most of the time.
Did you rendered this video from hdr to sdr ?
Fantastic job…Thanks for the comparison. Bit of a fail for the Nova LUT at 1:58 …the neon heart sign top centre is not working. Overall for my tastes it's a little in the cold/blue spectrum. It does hold detail at distant though, many lighting mods don't.
Is just me or Nova LUT is like E3 2018?
I really like the overall filmic look and yellowish haze removed, however, to those claiming REALISM, just YT search "Los Angeles in 4K Sunny Spring" and you'll notice deep dark blues which is why Natural California Lighting still remains the ONLY realistic graphics mod (incl. sunset, rain and night), everything else I've seen so far just gives a different style or tone but NOT realism, and I've visited California over various weather events. However, if you could go much deeper blues here or you have a somewhat saturated HDR monitor, this Nova LUT could work out just right and thx for the vid!
