DSP jumps into a game he knew he was going to hate far in advance, luckily for him it was one of the biggest, glitchest, most underdelivered on gaming blunders in human history. Can P and Johnny Silvergout somehow find a way to untangle themselves from the heist of a lifetime? Will DSP be able to get himself to the end of this mess in one piece? Can CD Projekt Red ever recover from this stain on their record?

Editor’s Note: There’s a minor error with part 3’s render, a clip was supposed to be played at 3:40:32 but instead there’s about 16 or so seconds of darkness. I apologize and hope you use these precious moments to reflect and feel good.
There’s tons more khantent on the way, stuff like FE Three Houses, Valhalla, Death Stranding, unfinished TIHYDPs like FF9 and Quantum of Solace, and some hidden gems as well.
Welcome to 2021. Promising to be just as big and bad as 2020 was.

Im not a fan of the game but jeez this dude obsession on bitching and reporting "bugs" is pathetic
Phil is a effing moron who can't be bothered to read. Then complains that things aren't explained to him.
Phil makes it so fuckng easy to troll him. Cuz all hell do is go on a 15 minute rant how he doesnt give a fuck ahhahaah
Phil knows lazy.
He dropped the Delemaine Mission? 😄😄😄😄😂😂😂
Karma.
Phil deserves buggy games.
Also, does this game use the same exact controller as the other games? How unoriginal. It doesn't improve on controller mechanics at all. Of course if it changed mechanics that would also be a reason to complain as the game would be non-intuitive.
the snorting f*** its gross

Japanese proverb: "Fall down seven times, get up eight."
2077 Japanese proverb: "Knock four times, make sense five".
Is he going for a no kill run or something? Why is he only shooting people in the crotch?
What a gonk, lmao!
One of the few times where “It’s not my fault, the game glitched” is a valid excuse.
Not for nothing he is right about this game throwing alot of shit at you in the beginning that made no sense unless you played the game before… and good luck if it wasn't bugged…especially on old consoles
God, he gets worse with every passing year. The ending is just gold "how am I supposed to know what is in my inventory?"…I don't know, check it? sort by newest added? For f*sake
Shocker! DSP is wrong and this game is awesome
Hes the worst gamer ever. We all know normal is journo level difficulty. He plays the whole game on it n complains the enemies r dumb and no point in using the mechanics. Didnt even know dodge was a thing. Then the second the game gives him something to react to or think ab he fails "game sucks dood dog shit"
I love how much he shits on hacking when it’s the most powerful and broken set of tools in the game
Tbh that's kinda why I've been hesitant to get the game lol his shit keeps crashing and has a random patch
Sees minor bug… "oh my god! Terrible! Unplayable! Devs are so lazy! Terrible! Unplayable! Boring! Tedious!" Yadda yadda.
Less than a minute later… a trivial bug… "oh my god! Terrible! Unplayable……"
Fuck me Phil, we get it. Play something else.
Pretty obvious he hates it and just repetitively shits on it for an entire run rather than giving it a chance.
“Oh man I dont understand this at all, it makes no sense”
Gee goutass maybe if you had paid attention during the tutorial instead of just ignoring and shouting “who cares! I just wanna play thevgame!”
You wouldnt be having an issue

"My deduction skills as a detective tell me he has quite possibly never had sex!"
If you ever wondered what it would look like to see your Grandpa play a video game now you know.
Gotta love Dave complaining about stealth mechanics. Because that takes too much effort.
I'll… be updating as I advance through the khantent.
1:45:00 "they thought this was ready for release". Not really, they knew it wasn't, but they wanted it out for 2020 for some weird reason. And then there's the stuff we would find out a month later and as of this comment the game is still held by scotch tape (according to who still play it). Hell, the so-called road map was changed again.
1:49:30 I don't think this gameplay is terrible, not even the skill tree. It's just unnecessarily made complicated to pretend it's complex. That basically summarizes the game. Of course this one is a nitpick of mine: what's up with games wanting menus to work like PC? In PC it's fine, but even FIFA had this right in 2001!
1:59:00 I'm… sort of inclined to agree with Dave. The promised stuff that didn't make it into the game was more interesting than the final product and no idea what happened that it basically became a futuristic Far Cry. I dunno how to feel with what Dave and other players have seen in the game. That being said, it's not terrible. The bugs and design flaws are holding it back, but without them it seems like a very decent open world game, certainly not what was promised, but still at least very decent if not 7 or 8/10.
2:25:00 who in Seedy PR's high spheres saw this and said "nah release it for Xmas"?!
2:30:00 he gets views, presumably? No idea if he was getting views for CP at the time; his MO is that he purchases Day One for that reason, so I guess he thinks he'll get an influx of views from new games even if he doesn't enjoy them.
3:04:45 no idea what happened here. My guess is he went out of bounds or the game registered him as such? This also happens if you go to the second floor in the apartment complex.
3:13:40 it's weird to see Dave not salty, but outright defeated. Like, he does the COD thing you show immediately and he is salty AF. I guess it's how others say, sometimes anger is better than utter indifference. Anger means you feel a loss, you're bitter, upset, completely lost your marbles; indifference… you just can't be angered anymore, you just can't be bothered with it. And you can tell how it gradually goes from the anger to the indifference in each reaction.
3:17:20 I… sort of understand where he's coming from and much as it pains me, I agree with him here. Other games are very self-explanatory with the stat gains and distribution, others as fantastic as they are like SMT4A, do this kind of thing where you can get something extra based on your stats… but it's extra, not mandatory, and it's a good incentive to replay the game and get different distributions, trying out new things. This is not like that, this is like if in Persona you could only beat Madarame if you have a persona with 25 luck. And this game isn't very good with explaining what your stats can do, which is worse because tech is needed for here, but you don't really need it for anything else because if it's low, then your partners can hack for you. Tl;dr: requiring specific stats to do something that will affect not only the outcome of the event, but that also has consequences in the long run as this game wants this choice to be, is absolutely asinine.
4:13:01 so… you use a handgun as you have a load of enemies around you… OK Dave.
4:17:00 honestly I'm more upset at his insistence of using a small gun when he has multiple threats instead of something more efficient, than about his ranting on the game's "stealth".
4:19:40 did… did the wine really not touch her clothes?!
4:29:08 as of this edit, he has rage quit Divinity II because "he is sixty hours in and not even halfway there", also complained about the lack of support, despite viewers paying him to even play the game. Putting games off for day one would be fine if he was a big streamer, which he is not. Plus his problem isn't views, it's that he has neither identity nor personality. The lack of viewership (and he has suffered A LOT since returning to YouTube) is because he offers nothing others can't give; he also hasn't realized day one games are not as interesting as they used to be.
5:10:50 honestly that's… almost every game with crafting sometimes. Some have done very good work on it, like Horizon basically being crafting it for the materials plus currency in a store, or alchemy/some method of reworking gear. But most of the crafting end up being just to obtain ammo and/or healing items, rarely something more nuanced. I can commend CP77 for trying to dig deeper with unique perks though… the only real issue with it is when you find a 5-star when you can only make 3-star or the like. However that doesn't seem to be an issue exclusive to Cyberpunk, so eh, I'll let it slide.
5:19:30 you're using a shotgun and attacking FROM A DISTANCE, Dave!
5:53:30 Yes, Dave, it's the game's fault you went to give Smasher a point blank shot.
5:57:57 you keep slashing as he makes an attack… but it's the game's fault? Moreover, I see cover everywhere in the room, so he's eating it because he wants to use the blades instead of a gun and doesn't run for cover at all.
5:59:40 oh I don't know, BACKING OFF AND USING A GUN?!
6:01:01 let's be glad the game apparently glitched Adam and took pity on Phil, or this disaster would've gone on for too long.
6:03:27 more like the game registers Smasher as dead and has locked into the narrative scene.
6:04:52 much as I dislike Phil, I can at least give him props for sticking to not selling out (even though we know he totally would in real life). This choice is possibly the one that shows that as much as he didn't care for the game and disliked a lot of it (sometimes for petty reasons), he still had some modicum of enjoyment following V and has some respect for V as a character and the journey here. The fact V dies is what undermines the game's original story (making it big against all odds in a plutocratic world, overthrowing those corporates while making a name for yourself), but I'll go over that in my final thoughts comment. As much as he hated the game, he decided that V should get to live and die as V decides, and at the least… it means he likes something about Cyberpunk.
A game where people would believe him when he says the game's broken.
On a separate note going about 3:00:00 yeah Jim Steph Sterling was saying the game should have been delayed even further than what it was. We would find out later on that devs were saying the promised game would be ready in 2022 and that's when it should've been delayed that long, if not announced for 2020. Just as an example: Hogwarts Legacy did exactly what Seedy PR should've done, which is they delayed the game to 2022 and scrapped the PS4-X1 versions. This was a great move because it allows the devs to focus on the new hardware's specs plus current PCs and will be on a time frame people are more likely to own PS5-XSX.
3:00 “I need complete silence in a menu or i cant concentrate on basic sliders and switches in a menu, dood!”
Them streets in Connecticut were dangerous
I don't know how else to describe Phil, he really is a low brow philistine with delusions of sophistication and eloquence.
Cyberpunk 2077 sucks so much
Tbh I don't get what problem have with this guy. You lot give him the attention and the means to continue what he's doing. So what he complains all the time and is hypocritical. Guess what there are people in positions of power who lie countless times are hypocritess yet you complain about some random gamer OmegaLul. I think it's time to have a good look at yourself and wonder whether you're the exact same as this guy. Try getting outside, work out, shave the neckbeard, maybe get better fitting clothes, maybe have a better facial hygiene instead of complaining about some random gamer.
game takes alot of inspiration from Blade Runner universe
And I'm done with the six hours. This took almost a month as you can see in my viewthrough comment.
Honestly as someone not interested in the genre, the game has a lot of cool things, stuff that is genuinely appealing and somewhat interesting. The story is engaging and combat is serviceable if with some questionable choices. The aesthetic of cyberpunk as a genre is always interesting to see even if I'm not into it. Also the rare moment of Dave showing empathy at the beginning with Jacky might be why he is so hostile to others? I wish, I know.
I think the bigger problem with the game is how much it wanted to be, but what it is, is perfectly fine, bugs notwithstanding. If it ever gets the technical issues fixed, it's a solid 8, which is pretty good even if just another good game. I don't know enough about it to question Phil's choices on developing V, so that's something I'll let the ones that have played it decide on.
Great job on the video, 0utsyder. I actually notice how much you've improved since earlier TIHYDPs even in longer ones, so big kudos for it.
And like I said in that long edited comment, honestly as much as Phil lies on him refusing Arasaka's offer, I will give him props for doing what V would do and refusing it. You could say it's his rare legitimately good moment.
Last thing: I'm not certain on how to feel with the story and V's fate, because in all outcomes… he just dies, still without the name and glory he craved. Maybe that was the point.
He is depressed , I know a depressed person when I see him.
I love how wings and dsp throw shade at each other all the time but claim they never spoke to each other.
i love that phil called out the outsyder not realising he or she was taking the piss.
