  1. At the same time there's no problem chopping up hundreds or thousands of other dudes into bloody bits with the katana. We don't even check if they're properly dead and in this game version they can be ko'd probably disabling injuries for life. V is some kind of psychopath inside really like Lara Croft too.
I mean we get to know Joshua, watch him eat a burger but he's a killer too.

  2. So Pawel Sasko, lead quest director for 2077, did a video breaking down Joshua's quest and I recommend you give it a watch in your own time, it's very interesting hearing him talk about little details and ideas they had.

  3. To clarify the game does NOT have that draw distance by default. I've played it on PS5 and it doesnt, I've watched many streamers who play the game and it doesnt. I think although there might not be an exact option for draw distance, something is impacting your draw distance. You should get it checked out.

  4. There are people in the Philippines who get crucified every year, some of them with actual nails and all. They do it for about a few minutes, mostly way longer than Joshua lasted. From what I'm told, death by crucifixion takes at least several hours. The game takes quite a jarring turn to tell this story. It feels impactful. And respectful.

  5. I really like the Joshua quest as it allows you to leave at any moment. You can leave at the start, you can leave after meeting Zuleikha (Ruben's sister, guy that Joshua killed), you can leave before the dinner, you can choose not to continue the quest after the dinner, you can leave when Joshua asks if you could nail him to the cross

This quest never forces you to play it, and that's why it's brilliant.

  6. By the way, I'd really recommend you to start Phantom Liberty as soon as possible (it will appear as Dog Eat Dog in your journal). There's literally LOTS of cyberware/weapons/mods/other stuff that will be useful for your main story quests (and also some of the Phantom Liberty twists can be referenced in main story dialogue).

  7. Thoroughly enjoying the playthrough and glad to know its looking relatively good with our YT corpo overlords. Btw mate u can start the phantom liberty expansion any moment now, it unlocks heaps of content, from cars to guns and even skills, its quite the long list of quests too with waiting periods in between and theyre separate yet related to the main quest and actually complements it quite well, its also more cohesive than saving it to end of the main quest since you avoid having to just sleep or wait for the follow ups to come up.

  8. First time I played through the Joshua crucifixition scene I had to take a break from the game for the rest of the day. I was like damn this is dark and much props to them for putting something like this in the game. Great play through

  9. Just saying… it's not like Maiko was wrong, as much as i like Judy… Maiko was right by saying she's too naive, and Maiko taking Hiromi's place at least makes more sense than "scaring" Hiromi into not being a tyrant. Because now with both Hiromi and Maiko dead… the Clouds and the Dolls will most likely become targets of not just other Gangs, but the Tyger Claws too.

This is a first playthrough so i understand Mapo it's simply choosing on instinc.

At least the game reminds you that actions have consequences by making Judy have a strong reaction to V killing Maiko, which i appreciate a lot.

  10. one time, recently, during the I fought the law quest i chose to ride with river… somehow the ai got bugged and he stopped navigating to the destination and just started driving around… at least i can say this game never fails to surprise me

  11. Just a reminder: The Porsche you're driving isn't Johnny's Porsche, it's a fan-made replica. Just want to take the wind out of your sails a little, because I don't want to devalue the tragic fate of the original.
