How is the Soviet Union in cyberpunk a dystopian nightmare when America is completely split? Infact one of the rippers you meet is from the Soviet Union and she says that they have free healthcare, which makes night city, NUSA, and the free states more dystopian. Also, Soviet Union joined the EU if I remember correctly which lead to nato collapsing and the US losing super power status especially after the big four failed horribly in their fake “everything is fine” attempt. In short, sovoil kicks ass.
