  1. Couple of days ago Cyberpunk 2077 returned on the PSStore after a long hiatus, but…in the description, it says that the PS4 version is still BAD! Can this game catch a break…live EVER?? Also, I watched and commented on Marcin Iwinski's lame explanation of why the game is broken at launch. It the comment section I just wanna say one thing – all kinds of developers are making parallel versions of a game for different platforms all the time like the NS versions for example. The fact that they couldn't finish the game was their own fault and if that was so much of a problem they could have delayed the game again or just the console version. Lastly, CP2077 was released merely a month after the Next Gen launch, so implying that "the last gen is a problem" with the PS4 install base being above 100mil and the scarcity of the next gen even to this day is just not a good way to win people over on your side. I want the game to succeed, not gonna play it any time soon, but it's astonishing to see how even seemingly good news about this game still come with some problems…

  2. 99% of the negative press could have been avoided by just calling the game Early Access.

But they were really keen on making big sales on launch day, and not spoiling the major plot points for those who don't wish to be spoilered.
The launch day should have been somewhere in 1.3-1.4 patch (still in future) where the most major gripes with the game are solved, some DLC already added and next expansion announced in 6 months from initial launch date.

I happen to be one of the rare few who didn't believe the insane amount of hate the game got and bought it in the 2nd week of release. I really had no issues outside of few graphical glitches plaguing the most key moments in the plot. It was little disappointing to see how police mechanism worked and it took up to 1.2 to make it at least seem realistic, but not obviously complete.

There's still strong hope this game will be great success if the launch of next gen update goes smoothly, and there's reviewers willing to test the game out.

Especially Multiplayer feature is going to be crucial to maintain good PR for years forward.
