  1. The thing is, as far as I understand, most corpo contracts are comparable to Kang Tao. That's why it's considered such an amazing feature for Arasaka to only be 20 years. For just about all others you're looking at 40 or 50 just like Kang Tao. So most of the arguments about slaving hours and wages can be made for all of them. Which in my opinion makes Kang Tao suddenly not so bad. At least compared to Militech, but maybe even Biotechnica.

  2. The whole AI part of Night Corp just reminds me of the Red Strings Club, and the idea that if you alter people at all, even if it's claimed to be for good, is wrong. You could argue this really easily, but the idea that you're altering how someone thinks or acts takes away what that person is, and you fundamentally remove the human experience from life.

  3. I think NightCorp is easily one of the worse companies off of speculation, purely because they’re receiving funding from the other corporations to build infrastructure that corporates exploit for their own gain. This includes the transportation, the logistics for AI, the infrastructure for mass media and surveillance across the city, and multiple charities that are used to expand their influence in a negative way. Militech and Arasaka are the poster boy for the worst corporations, with Kang Tao and Biotechnica as their direct successors purely because of their violence. NightCorp is the de facto host of these corporations, and easily one of the worst companies

  4. “It’s a pretty well armed vessel, but is taken on by us without too much trouble.”

To be fair, to crash the damn thing wasn’t easy. The EMP which also cost half Night City it’s power, and Panam’s Javelin-esque rocket launcher. And that’s just for a single AV. I doubt many people could pull off anything similar.

  5. NightCorp is scary because you one Night could be you then all of a sudden you get knocked out then the company puts something in your head and you'll notice nothing for a while, but you start changing your personality until you become a puppet for the corp and at any moment they could flip a switch and turn thousands of people into mindless drones.

  6. I dunno.
If it's cloned, non brain, non sentient human meat, it's not that bad, it's just meat.
No risk of parasites, antibiotics, or toxins.
    Sounds like a great choice.
Though if they can clone humans, why not pigs or cattle? Is all genetical information of farm animals wiped from the world in 2077?

  7. Im pretty sure Yorinobu had Abernathy killed as part of his plan to demolish Arisaka.
Realistically if you're planning something like that you first have to take out the people whose job it is to make sure it doesn't happen.

  8. Another thing with Biotechnica is that they knowingly sell medicines that have a significant probability of creating debilitating side effects such as progressive neurological degeneration and deliberately chose to recall the product or inform people the public and instead continue to sell it without even trying to fix the issue in future batches as shown in Sasha’s music video and she only found one example there is truly no way of knowing how many more of their products have these issues or if they were exposed by the media after having that info leaked to them. As for which corp I would choose I’d have to say either one of the car manufacturers or maybe net watch
