  1. I'm sure they scrapped a lot of things when Keanu joined the team. The campaign was short because they had to figure out how to make the game revolve around Johnny. Keanu joined in 2019 so they had a short time to do that. You can see it in the demo. Johnny was alive until at least 2076. "Been a year since he went on his last ride" the radio said. To make him get some gravitas they scrapped that time schedule and restructured the story. Then they blamed the short campaign on user feedback on the Witcher 3. So many failed promises with this game.

  2. Even if the game ran smoothly the content is lacking in my opinion. Outside the missions we are left staring at neon lights. NPCS are copy and paste lifeless characters. The street kid life path doesn’t give you that feel at all, why not add aspects like selling drugs, or shooting dice in a ally. With corpo you can do white collar crimes like insider trading, or maybe a more criminal approach like operating black market sales by using Arasaka connections. Creativity was lacking due to them wanting to rush the game and at this point I’m not interest considering other games coming in 2021 like Hogwarts Legacy, Dying light 2 and many more ambitious open world games

  3. This is an all around unfinished game, even without the bugs there is so much content that was not remottely done yet that you even have unfinished location with nothing in them. Trully sad, poor devs if only the people in the mangement listened to them

  4. I pushed myself through the prologue of Cyberpunk (took me about 3 days btw) and after that I just stopped playing, I wasn't even hyped for Cyberpunk and it still left me dissapointed.

  5. I bought the physical version and didn't asked for refund. I waiting for the patches bc I hope the team can fix the best the can… that being said: no one can excuse the launch day, the heads of CDPR really screwed big time

  6. It's just came to my mind so I'm saying it with no positivity or negativity attatched, just as a statement, could it be possible that they were in a tight spot and desperately needed money? I mean… It could be, it's not an excuse but… It's possible.

  7. To be honest further delaying the game is not an ideal solution from a business standpoint. If they have had delayed it until lets say 2022, the amount of money they had to pay for all those developers for that amount of time would only furthermore overshadow some portion of the profit. For a company that doesn't have many IPs, that doesnt release games on a yearly basis, that might be too much for them. Now, I wont be out here defending a big ass company since I do still believe even if they have delayed it the amount of money they are getting fromm Gwent and the amount they would get from the sales would still be 10 times more than the investment, but the higher ups probably thought that they would make more safer money releasing it right now than in 2 years, even tho I'd argue that if they really were all about the community and respecting our money they would have been satisfied with less profit for the sake of a finished polished game. Either way, it was for the higher ups probably just a choice of more money but losing respect, or much less money but maintaining this image CD projekt Red had in the gaming world. And, as it always happens with big gaming companies, they chose the former.

Im just hoping personally that this will open people's eyes more to not fucking stan big corporations/companies for any fucking reason, because they never have customer's interest as a guiding line, it is always money.

  8. As someone who has been a dev.. STOP CUTTING THE DEVS SLACK! ITS THEIR FAULT. THERE IS NO EXCUSE. THIS IS THEIR JOB. NOT MANAGEMENT. MANAGEMENT ISN’T THE CAUSE OF MISSINGS ASSETS. THEY DIDN’T FAIL TO NAVMESH PROPERLY, ITS THE FUCKING DEVS. THE CODERS, THE LANDSCAPE TEAM, QA, ETC. THEY HAVE ALL FAILED MISERABLY AT THEIR JOBS. ITS EVERY FUCKING DEPARTMENTS FAULT. ALL OF THEM HAVE FAILED AT THEIR TASK. SO SICK OF SEEING PEOPLE WHITE KNIGHT FOR THESE INCOMPETENT FOOLS

  9. The thing is that is that if a game that launched like this was from EA or Ubisoft, nobody will be defending it. I think that because it’s cdpr, a company with so much much goodwill, it’s just a bit hard to take.

  10. Cyberpunk 2077 is this generation's Driv3r, its the EXACT same story.

I found the whole fast travel using newspaper vending machines totally baffling, I didn't even know what they were for for a good third way of the way through the game.

Also, having huge sections of the map locked off permanantly. including a good 30% of the main city proof the game was chopped up to get it out, especially as one of the missions talks about going to the stadium in the game, which is in one of the unfinished areas.
