God this game can be gorgeous
The game is unfortunate in some ways, but the art and next-gen graphics are some of the best out there. Really hope the game continues to improve.
The game should be updated by 2077.
After watching this demonstration, I have to give CD Projekt Red kudos for the character designs and how they used the cyberpunk setting to present personality just by what we see in our first glance.
Every character has their own choice of wear, no conventions seem to be standardised and everyone has free will to dress up in what fits them, which is a great narrative decision for presentation.
Each character has an assigned set of colours as well, with some preferring to keep them mute, which tells a lot about the character’s tastes in media and how they generally see themselves, everyone’s their own artist in this universe.
Everyone also has their own idle stance, which also further portrays character through outward appearance, and shows that everyone has been given freedom of movement through the cybernetics.
This game has a wide spectrum of designs, ranging from the formal and straight-thinking, to the queer and care-free, and every design throughout has always caught my attention for one reason or the other. I want to see more immersive games tackle this kind of character design.
Wow maybe I should replay the game now that it has it’s next gen update
