In today’s video, we take a look at a Smart Sniper build. This build focuses on using the Ashura sniper rifle and Fenrir along with a 4.5-second cooldown Sandevistan MK.5 that basically allows you to stay in time dilation while you take out your enemies before they even know what hit them.

  1. I play full Netrunner and kill everybody in an enemy base before I even enter. I only enter to loot. Mostly I park somewhere near, hack a cam and jump from camp to cam infecting everyone with poison, resetting their systems and let them shot themselves. Easy peese.

  2. Once you craft up the legendary iconics max level you will realize the problem solver is MUCH better than the fenrir. It has like double the dps and fire rate, its actually the 2nd highest dps iconic in the game after comrades hammer

  3. You should have talked more about the Ashura variants. Taking the highest damage version is fine, but not needed as it oneshots most things anyway. I like the legendary variant with "hit 2 additional targets" as then you can kill small groups with one shot. But I've read that the variant with "50% reduced lock-on time" is also good for fast killing.

    edit:
ah just tested, when you craft the Ashura you always get the crit chance variant … you need to find a legendary version in the world to get the other variants (like the one in Royces room)

  4. rofl, ppl who makes these builds has no idea wtf r they thinkin or jsut tryin to fool ppl, when ur maxed out and put armadillo everythin, u wont take any dmg anywayD: all guns one shots evrythin too, just go inside enemy, stay inside them as long as u want then spam a gun if u wanna kill, on the other hand these ppl with op builds…. fckin annoying

  5. This is a great video. These build tutorials are more helpful to show options to increase the fun factor for players, to suit preferred playstyles, instead of aiming to be the best overpowered build.
At very hard difficulty, endgame is a breeze if you focused your perks on a particular thing, and crafted good weapons and armor.
I mean, a contagion hacker build cleans out a full building by chilling from the sidewalk outside. A comrades hammer build one shots everything you hit. I saw a stealth katana assassin build where someone beheads everyone in slow motion in seconds.

Pick the style that you like playing and spec into everything that makes it happen, and dont waste perks. I hope they tune “very hard difficulty” again tbh, it can become so imbalanced.

  6. That's a fun idea. It kind of bothers me that it looks like you have to go hardcore into Tech Ability to really reach V's full potential. Obviously you can beat the game just fine without it (I'm doing it right now…), but still.

  7. Also I realize you're doing it for the Youtube Algorithm (and technically the game lets you incapacitate without killling), but maybe some other euphemisms for killing enemies might help. "Take them out" is fine but you wind up having to say it so many times.

  8. My build is similar but I dont use smart weapons. I use everything else.

    12 Body
    20 Reflexes
    18 Technical
    18 Cool
    3 Intelligence

Once I crafted everything I needed I respec'd most of the crafting points into combat skills.

  9. next build idea ((The Walking Death Netrunner)) .. INT-20. Cool-20. Tech-20. what ever is left Body .. poison quick hacks and coldblood are the main stays, with Grenades to level up fast from the Tech tree. guns are just meaningless.. the Netwatch Cyberdeck is key for fast spreading all consuming Death, there is more to the build idea but its not hard to figure out .. i did this at the start of the game after seeing Victor, and got the cyberdeck right after the map opened up and nothing lives .. fair warning: the game got boring because, well nothing lives.

  11. Theres also a gun shop that sells legendary Ashura if you cant get your crafting up to 18. Idk what street cred or level you need for it tho cuz I found it when I was lvl 50, street cred 50

  12. Been running this since launch. Way too much fun. You want to put about 25 points into Merciless which is the cold blooded mastery skill. Your points in body are wasted points. With slow down time active all the time you’re really never getting hit anyway.

  13. I do something similar. However all my equipped weapons are smart weapons. Meaning the Ashura sniper, D5 Sidewinder assault rifle, and either a A-22B Chao or HJKE-11 Yukimura pistol. You can even go with a L-69 Zhuo shotgun. I do keep one katana, or other melee weapon, for those moments melee seems to be called for. Plus a single gun, usually a power pistol equipped with a silencer for those moments I want to be sneaky. The D5 Sidewinder and the A-22B Chao can be bought as legendary at the gun shop located in the badlands at the Sunset Motel. There are Chao crafting specs around the map to be found if you want to craft your own. The D5 Sidewinder on the other hand seems to not have a crafting spec in the game at all.

The D5 Sidewinder does an excellent job when sniping isn't in the cards any more. You don't even have to go in looking for enemies at close range. If they are behind cover just aim to the side or above them and fire off a burst. Then sit back and watch your bullets home in on the enemy.

The main trick is to do a Breach Protocol and then a ping before starting the fight. This will highlight all enemies in the area thus making it possible to lock on with your smart weapons even through walls. Now you can't shoot through walls with smart weapons but you can shoot around them to the sides or over walls if there isn't a roof in the way.

  14. My only suggestion might be using Neon Arrow and Autoloader mods on your sniper. While the Crit is nice it is really overkill on trash mobs. That gun reloading faster in my mind would be a bit more usefull. Too bad those mods are hard to get.

  15. Something's up with the description. I don't think there's a single mention of quick hacks in this video. Still, seems good, except when fighting smart weapon immune enemies, of which there are quite a few, which I'm glad there is a recommendation for a second weapon. I'm really enjoying Buzz Saw as it shoots through walls, yet is a power SMG.

  16. Overwatch is the best sniper rifle in the game ..Hands down, it can shoot through every wall in the game you can shoot people through entire buildings, NONE of the other sniper rifles in the game can hold a candle to the Overwatch sniper rifle. I have done 2.5 mill shots with it

  17. Doing a playthrough right now with only the Ashura as my only weapon, but I also have the cyberdeck to rip off devastating quickhacks for offense as well. Pretty much a Corpo Hitman Netrunner.

  18. hey firespark81 shotgun build plz iv been testing for a week and they seem very underpowered only thing i can come up with is to run the legendary shortcircut quickhack for the passive short circut on crit

  19. Another great n way to go is Panam's Overwatch. Couple this with marking through even base level Ping and you'll be able to shoot through buildings to take down your enemies. It does make for boring gameplay though. I did that for my first playthrough but I like Firespark's build better.

  20. I hit 1 mill damage with Overwatch the other day. In Pacifica overlooking the beach south of the roller coaster. Just a little north of the 3 girls talking about sailfish(could hear them still if they kept talking), shot the large guard at the grey car on the beach in the head, just over 1 million damage. Girl in the orange shorts didn't freak out and run away too… Told me it was a beautiful day when I hit the TALK button lol.

I use Overwatch for very long range shots or stubborn tools that hide and stay hidden. Otherwise I use Moron Labe for everything else. Can clear kill most any group of enemies before they know I am even there without slowing time and because it is physical damage only far less chance of killing a psycho. Countermass in one slot and 3 Crunch, 1-2 round burst fire from left to right and the groups are dead just fine. Body shots ~30k damage, headshots up to 300k.
