  1. I just need proper life paths and the multiple factions to actually mean something. All the things they added sounds good for first time players and people hopeful to dive into the game, but with the amount of time I've already put into the game it's hard to really see any of these improvements making me get back into it. But good on them for rolling out some improvements though. I just hope there's shit coming out soon that can add more replayability

  2. Months ago when it was still in the rough state, I was flatout stuck on a level where an action to jack into the van at the mall wouldn’t trigger. I eventually just gave up on it. Now it’s on old gen so it’s not as good visually. The update has at least made the game stable on my end to where I’m like, “damn this is fun now!” One day I’ll get to next gen but for now I’m really enjoying the update despite it being old gen.

  3. So it looks like they totally nerfed everything. Lame. I dread going back to my in progress game. I quit halfway through because of the state it was in and have been waiting for them to fix everything. Basically they’ve reset my game with this update and nerfed my build. I guess i have to launch it and see weather the fixes offset the nerfs they’re forcing on us.

  4. Now that I can actually play and enjoy it, I’m really liking it. The story seems pretty good and engaging. The combat is fun enough. Plenty of weaps to mess around with. It’s coming along

  5. I absolutely love this new update… but there are 2 things they should add to make the game even better:
    1. Gang Wars… make the gangs meaningfull and give them a sort of rep system where they will either respect or actively hunt down the player depending on their standing with the player.
    2. leisure activities (braindances, drinks/eating, going to clubs)

  6. Played it on PS4 PRO on release and I wasnt happy, playing it right now on Series S and I must say I'm having fun however, I did have a crash when trying to pick up a weapon from a downed enemy.

  7. I played the free trial for 30 mins and I noticed so many improvements I decided to buy it again on ps5. Pc I have no hope of playing that game but it is what it is

  8. It took a lot of restraint to buy the game but wait to play until this patch. It’s fun, the heist story is super engaging… but gosh, I just lose immersion with all the bugs. Super finicky picking up loot, doesn’t seem to match drop locations. And the dialogue triggers are all over the place.

  9. The game will never be capable to fix its biggest problem, which is a crap story and progression of said story, and the utterly anti-choice aspect of the entire game. That is unless they are willing to rebuild the entire intro and ending, story, climax, and honestly everything they currently haven't bothered to touch. Which I doubt as that usually costs almost as much as building a new game entirely at that point.

  10. I played this on the PS4 and it wasn't a great experience but with this update and playing on te PS5 it feels like another game. Its awesome! I love it. The game finally feels and preforms like I was first expecting it to do, just can't stop playing now. Also so much potential with upcoming content, this game really deserves some praise now.

  11. The game is playable and somewhat enjoyable but patch 1.5 should’ve been the release standard and it cannot justify how badly CD scammed anyone who bought the game for 60$ they’re just saving face at this point

  12. Ej, I'm really looking forward to playing the game again with the update, but I cry when I see how terrible my equipment and build have been mutilated 😰😭
And I really don't know if I can still enjoy the game 😓😓

  13. I havent spent too much time playing the upgraded version yet, but it looks the same on the XSX before the upgrade. Regardless, it’s still a great game and hopefully more people can enjoy it

  14. I'm glad that people are enjoying the (mostly) fixed and current-gen version of the game. Obviously the bugs hindered my experience at launch, but I will continue saying they designed the wrong game. Night City is boring and the branching story paths, despite the alternative endings, really don't massively change the quest-to-quest alternatives in Cyberpunk. I've continually compared it to Fallout NV. it was buggy at launch (and even to this day) and had janky gunplay, but the overall story made the game so immersive and had such replayability, Cyberpunk still can't hold a candle to it. Hell, Cyberpunk doesn't even measure up to Witcher 3. Sure, they fixed some stuff and added customization options, but at its core the game is boring to me. And I'm not even taking into account the promises CDPR about how immersive Cyberpunk would be. It wasn't when the game initially released and is still not with the current-gen update and options, and will never be because the core gameplay loop is really boring. I hope others enjoy it, and I appreciate CDPR sticking to fixing it, as opposed to another company, say like EA/DICE. But I will never return to Night City again, and Cyberpunk 2077 will always be a colossal disappointment.

  15. As a huge RPG fan, I would so very much like to love this game… But no matter how many times I try it – I just hate it. And still there's a strong feeling that I'm missing out. So I try it again and hate it even more. Drives me crazy 😀

  16. I have been defending Cyberpunk 2077 as I have been having a blast on my PS4 Pro. Yes, some issue with textures catching up. Over the last two months I've been playing the heck out of the game and impressed more and more. Heck, I only have 2 trophies until a Platinum . . . . HOWEVER, with this new update, the game is a brick for me. Getting the Data Corrupt, reinstall. Reinstall does not work. So now I cannot play this game . . . until they fix this issue. Ugh, kicking myself for downloading the update.
