They added so many new fucking abilities in update 2.0, imagine if they added a dual wield. Id wanna be a fucking dual-wielding smart shotgun and katana build.
even when the game first came out, it was a lot of fun. I think that sort of got lost due to the bugs. Not counting the bugs, I thought it had some clear flaws when I played it, for example hacking made the game too easy / boring and the city starts to feel empty real fast as you realize there's less quests than you thought there would be. Besides that though, the game was a lot better than it got credit for. It's no surprise that it's taking off now that they made it more stable.
Couldn't agree less with the opinion that if a game gets review-bombed, it's because the game's bad or deserved it.
Last of Us Part 2 is a great example of this. Semi-objectivly it's a way way above average game, but it got review-bombed like crazy over and over again. Why?
Yes, of course there was people who didn't like where the story went and how some things played out. They voiced it, they were a huge amount of the less favored reviews. Super fair, in my personal opinion, of course.
But then there were a huge majority of the review-bombs, and discourse, that were straight up fueled by homophobia, sexism and transphobia. And this is – based on Asmon's argument and a lot of other peoples' – a POLITICAL push by the game devs. Did Naughty Dogs push support for different sexualities and other human rights? Sure.
In other parts of the world though, example in Europe, not the US, we don't call that politics. It's simply human rights. In my opinion Naughty Dogs didn't "push" this, they simply included it and showed it like it was a norm. Which it should be. Normal.
So is Last of Us Part 2 a bad game?
Also; just because you as a person have a LEGAL right to voice your opinion, it doesn't mean it's MORALY right to do so.
Play the frikin game bro why just reacting
I was one of the early adapters of Cyberpunk 2077, as well as a Gorilla Arms main. I can say with certainty that the game was always fun, and now I'm real disappointed I don't have the game anymore now. Those new arms look sick, I probably would've had a lot more fun in brawls with em.
I think where people go wrong when it comes to review bomb backlash is that not every review is going to be applicable to you. For example, if you see a restaurant review that says: "1 star, they kept their peanut sauce too close to the other sauces so I couldn't try any of them due to contamination." That's a legitimate review, but if you don't have a peanut allergy, are you going to care? It's a problem when people review a game without playing it, but a lot of it is people only want others to review a game who will agree with them. They want the review to accurately reflect if THEY will like it.
As much as I trashed over the game, im glad CDPR actually did and save the game. The problem is, we cant keep having these NMS ordeals and praising them where companies come out with trash and fix it after the release. We need to stop acting like these companies are so noble when they lie to us about their game and say "But dont worry, we'll fix and insert everything we promised at a later date". It still gives these companies the incentive to make trash first and patch it later. Insert the stuff you promised at release or dont release it at all.
respect to cd project red for admitting their mistakes and actually making an effort to listen to the community
FREEDOM OF SPEECH MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS.
Apology does NOT cost 30e.
The part about moving feeling good is SOOOO true. One of my absolute favorite things in Cyberpunk is that I don't ever feel the need to use fast travel because traveling is FUN. I absolutely love that I can dash around and drive fun vehicles from point A to B without feeling the need to rush to a teleport point. They've really done a great job in that aspect (and many others of course).
It's also a double entendre. Fixed means rigged as well.
I love the game, my 649 hours reflect that. However, the endings are all harsh. I was hoping for a better one with Phantom Liberty but it is punishing as well.
MaxTac can be defeated if you double jump onto a building and pick them off.
look say what you want, for how bad the game market has gotten these days, this game has shined even at the costs of its new dlcs cause mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn they kept working har.d its hands down a no mans sky situation, but lets not forget that no mans sky is still popping off development wise but this game is now a crowning jewel even if the animations can be roughhhhhhhh its fine cause its only bad when you dont care about it HAH
0:22 but yeahhhhhhhhhh ITS SUUUUUCH A GFOOD LINE! like genuinly takes a few minutes ot make sure im not reading too far into it but the dobuel meanings and all that stuff is such good self aware humor i love it
9:06 i AM SO HAPPY TO BE HYPED OT LOVE THE GMAE AGAIN! like i played over 80 hours+ and i lovedddddddddddddddd glitch launch cause it wasnt unplayable is was just a absolute train wrekc which man cheese and bug hunting fun, but now? now i can ACTUALYL enjoy the game as a game………… ONCE I BUILD MYNEW PC TO ACTUALY PLAY IT LMFAO. swear tofuck this rx 6950xt better POP OFF for 1440p in here with out RT cause fk RT
Reviewers also most likely played the game on higher end PCs rather than last gen consoles and had fewer problems because of it. The game was still super buggy and janky but more playable on PC for me.
I personally had a smooth experience at launch so I can’t relate to the majority. Cyberpunk is a great game and starting my 2nd play through now. With the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, CDPR is probably the best studio in the industry behind Rockstar.
Isnt 'the game is fixed' also implying 'the game' being like the underground gangster 'game' being rigged towards the ones with the money or however you want to put it. And its a double entendre with the actually video game being fixed
You predicted the attack that happened! Iron shield held!
Theirs a viral video about it
They launched dozens of missiles today. Iron shield held up & deflected them all. ❤❤❤ F War
Asmongold BASED!!!
Nobody sexuality is any more immune to critisizim than mine is.
Everyone loves shitting on starfield but forgets Bethesda RPGs are the only games where I can stack one billion sweet rolls and 500 hours later come back and they are still there. Cyberpunk ain’t got shit on a Bethesda game
Almost every mission & gig on cyberpunk has been super fun to play. I enjoy it too! It’s my fav game besides Ori and it puts Tears of the Kingdom to shame. They fixed it & I love the fixes, plus they’ve added to it. I think they did more than just fix it. IMO💁🏼♀️
2 things that have always stood out to me in Cyberpunk are 1.) player shadows are the worst ive ever seen in any game ever made, not even really sure how they managed to pull it off and 2.) immediately after every conversation with an npc their head snaps up, they look forward and they walk forward and clip right through you, i cant imagine adding collisions to the character you play would be all that complicated but what do i know
Wait until you play intro missions of phantom liberty 🤯
Let’s all just do some theorycrafting. Does anyone remember the prototype game on gbox 360? Imagine if we had the graphics nowadays with a gory as hell game like that. You literally would run around the city gta style and murder/eat people to get stronger, an you could literally slice people in half, showed everything, spines, organs… everything.
Yea… I was like.. Hey did u know Johnny blew Arasaka tower THIS year? 😀
Story of V might be over but world exist. Just make cyberpunk 2, or new DLC which is alone standoff where you play same world from different perspective and different story migth even end in a way that sooner or later he meets Vi who fucks you up completely at some point of the story w/o even noticing.
The game is a legendary 10/10 now. just finished phantom liberty
38:39 I feel the next Cyberpunk content they make will be a new game learning from their mistakes.
Played since the release on PC. Didn’t experience any major issues. 246 hours the first 2 month with 3 characters. The game only got stuck 2 times, at the fireplace with Panem and the River revolver quest was bugged.
The same with many Streamers, they also manage to complete the game at release.
I might be biased but I'm sincerely feel like cyberpunk 2077 as it is now is the best game out there at this time for me. It just excels in so many different ways. If It came out as it is now, it would be another BG3 or Elden Ring thing.
I gave up after intro at realse, Patiently waited until 2.0 to play the game,I'm so glad I did.
I played the game to completion on release and had a blast with it the entire time. The issues I saw mostly boiled down to this game is and was next gen and people who didn't have access to that encountered major bugs and issues which disappointed them. I barely encountered any bugs or glitches, loved it, and so did my major friend group who played it entirely on PC
What I love about Phantom Liberty and the 2.0 update, is the message that CDPR is sending. They are putting the game experience before their desire for profit and quickfix appease of shareholders. They show that they realize company trust, loyalty, and goodwill, is more important in the long run for everyone involved.
The DLC was extremely expensive for them to make. It was absurdly ambitious, it went over the moon (literally) to ensure an amazing gameplay experience that didn't just appease expectations, but even overdelivered. Any product that overdelivers while still being net profitable, is destined for greatness. This is the takeaway, the big lesson the industry needs to relearn. CDPR is now among the companies who have understood truly what this means, and shown a full commitment to walking that path.
This games endings, all of them, hit you. Such good writing
I recall that in a stream made by Pawel Sasko, he was talking about how he and his team put everything ounce of their being in the game and how hurt they were with the release and how they were later vindicated by the improvement of the public opinion with Edgerunners and the Edgerunner patch. With the tears taking over him while Let You Down from the anime plays in the background
Shit was cinematic, It is great that the developers managed to rescue a game that was the center of their work for years but it kinda sucks that the suits now got a lot of money for a game they were almost responsible of killing.
I can't wait to see asmon play more cyberpunk 🎉
No mmo. Add multiplayer, sure, but no mmo!!
Yeah i played through both versions of the game liked both versions one was shit and the other less shit
I cant forget, but I can forgive
Wait a minute.. Zack knew what was coming down in Israel? mindblown
