  1. you guys didn’t recognise mr blue eyes 😭😭😭 he does a gaunter o’dimm and hides in the background in certain quests doing his creeping. he’s linked to a BUNCH of the side quests, and there’s a conspiracy linking them all together you can piece together if you do the detective stuff for them, that probably gives clues for all the DLC’s

  2. You guys chose the The Sun ending, 2nd best ending (in my opinion at the very least). There's 5 endings, 4 of them (like the one you just played) are customizable if you will. The worst one is the suicide ending; it's always available no matter what you achieve or not achieve in the game.

The 2nd worst ending is the Devil; you accept Hanako Arasaka's offer and help her take the company throne. Her father Saburo is cyber-resurrected in the body of his son Yorinobu, and you can make the ending a little extra worse if you sign a will, giving Arasaka permission to digitally transfer your soul into Mikoshi. The only thing that makes the Devil ending any good, is that you get the option to kill Adam Smasher.

There's a secret ending you can access. To access this ending, you'll need to complete johnny's side quests with Rogue and Kerry. After Johnny tells you what may or may not happen if you call Rogue, Panam, or Hanako, wait a short while, and Johnny will ask you "it's pretty hard to decide on how you wanna do this isn't it?" or something like that. Eventually, you'll gain the option to storm through the front door of Arasaka Tower all by yourself, with the heaviest Iron you can grab. When you reach Mikoshi after choosing to go solo, you'll only have the option to end the game in 2 ways. Let V return to his/her body (in this case her), and play the ending you just did (the sun), or let Johnny take over V's body. After you let Johnny take complete control of V's body, you'll see him ride off into the desert on a bus. This ending is supposedly the 3rd worst after the devil.

The best ending is the Aldecado (Nomad) ending. In order to achieve the best version of this (specifically for Fem V) you gotta call Judy first, and then call Panam. It's not exactly a happy ending, but in contrast to the others, it's the most uplifting and hopeful.

If you ask me, the best way to play Cyberpunk is without doing the River, Peralez or Kerry side quests (except for the Samurai gig). If you wanna earn Eddies and experience points, Regina Jones's gigs should be plenty enough.

I didn't play Cyberpunk 2077 at all, but I did watch a lot of video's of it on Youtube. I'm working on a novelized version of the game. I already have some Ideas on both the back and front burners of my brain.

If you guys decide to revisit Cyberpunk, start out as a Corpo. It won't make a big difference in the overall gameplay, but it is the coolest way to open the game.

  3. The Corpo ending (the Devil tarot I believe) is very dramatic and you really feel the weight of your decision. I like it for that reason, even though it's the depressing ending. My canonical ending is happy with Panem (I looked it up… it's the Temperance ending). I started the game as a corpo and ended as a nomad. I thought it might be funny if y'all had the exact opposite journey – starting as a nomad and selling yourself out to the corps, but (luckily I'd say) that wasn't very tempting in your playthrough.

It's cool that y'all got to go to space, though. I vote yes on replays. Level 50 max hacker with legendary quickhacks is pretty fun to play. Just saying… It takes forever to get there, but you feel totally OP!

It is cool to contrast how Judy leaves Night City if you don't or can't romance her with how she handles this ending. To be clear, it wasn't your decisions that causes her to leave; she will leave Night City no matter the ending; that's just her story's inertia, which makes sense given all of the terrible shit she went thru in the city. (I think the suicide ending might be the only exception – it's ambiguous.) I love how she's written because she really feels like she has agency, unlike a lot of video game love interests. She's got her own priorities that don't revolve around V; although V does have a gravitational pull, it only goes so far. (sorry for the physics analogies but that's the easiest way for me to think about it)

Final thought: I know we rag on Jacob for stealth, but I want to point out that if you had a silenced pistol all along like you did at the end, you probably could have done well in stealth missions. Silenced pistols + headshot + sneak attack = insta-kills. And you can land those head shots… so, yeah, all in good fun. 🙂
