The Cyberpunk 2077 E3 Demo was Fake…

NEW MERCH: https://merch.streamelements.com/gethip

In Today’s video I’m going over recent Developer Interview lead by Bloomberg that reveals that the 2018 E3 Demo was Faked . This is an extension of my last couple of videos where I talk about cut content within the game such as cut train stations and cut police mechanics like being arrested. Feel free to check out my past videos that cover cut quests, story missions, gadgets like the flathead, Meredith Stout alternate quests, choices being changed, different actions for Jackie, changes to the story, Keanu Reeves playing a bigger part as Johnny Silverhand, and much more.

  1. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the title is really misleading. What does it even mean that the demo was fake? When I read the title I thought it meant that the demo was a video or something like that, and it sure wasn't.
Yea there probably was some special polishing around it, meaning that the rest of the game was in a way worse state – but that's what a vertical slice is, that's kinda the point.

  2. sad to hear that put in a lot of time to this fake demo, not put in time, not get paid as much for cyberpunk to only lead up to a completely unfinished game due to the higher ups. not surprised when a company’s greed and fame gets to them.

  3. Honestly when you sign up for a salary position in a high stress job periods of “crunch” are regular in many industries. The fact that ppl are singling out game devs is honestly just ridiculous this is how the world works and legally a salary employee can be obligated to work overtime to fulfill the requirements of their job. It’s not a popular opinion and maybe it’s not right but I don’t live in a world that’s just full of easy 40 hour workweeks I’m constantly working 60-80 hours a week and sometimes more because it’s what needs to be done and it’s about having a good work ethic. The game has issues not gonna defend that I enjoyed it but that’s not the point.

  4. Yeah, the game isn't that product what we've been waiting for so many years. I made a comparison between Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR 2, check out the video on my channel 🙂

  5. I still wouldn't believe that the E3 promo vid was fake. I Do think they still covering for sticking Keanu Reeves in. Why was Adam Badowsky or Martin Lewinsky, whoever, was giving incremental release dates month by month towards the end ?

  6. The fact that the "higher ups" are boomers has no correlation to them being greedy cunts, and people are just surprised that CDPR apologised at all.
This is looking more and more like a No man's sky situation every day.

  7. Gosh I wish they would just man up and own up to all the lies and mistakes they made with this game and at least promise to fix the damn game and deliver. This is the last company I'd expect to pull a stunt like this. I get it they're not the same indie company they use to be back in their Witcher era idk maybe this has to do with money and how successful The Witcher 3 made them cause that company is worth more than Ubisoft

  8. Jason Schreier often provides some good insights into the game industry, but when he goes into his crunch police activism mode, I roll my eyes and groan "not again!". It seems that he has never worked in a job where deadlines need to be met.

  9. You know what? Halo Infinite got shit for the state of its trailer (some of it deserved, for a game taht was supposed to come out in only a few months, it looked mid beta), at least I know that trailer was all real shit. And they had teh decency to skip out on the console launch because it wasn't ready.

  10. lol still better game than 90% of shit released in the last decade … I love cyberpunk , and none of this shit is new lol game companies been doing this shit for 20 years lol difference being CDPR will fix and finish it …unlike EA and Ubi that would just take it out back and shoot it …

  11. Think about this. CDPR set the public release dates specifically so they could PRESSURE the devs. Knowing full well the game wasn't ready. And they also pressured them by tying bonuses to bullshit metacritic scores. Basically acting like mafia crime lords holding their staff hostage.
