  1. This game is getting such a revival because Cyberpunk is 'literally' THE best Anime we've had release in a long while.

This is the wave of Nippon, the Union of Weebs has entered Cyberpunk essentially. Every Anime-Fan who was on the fence about Cyberpunk is now rushing to it like it's Cocaine.

  2. This game has the potential to become a metaverse game with REDMod! I started playing this a year after launch (not very buggy by that point), and I immediately fell in love with the game. Nothing like driving around Night City and crushing some gangs. I am so happy that CDPR kept investing in it and improving it regardless of the press, and now it is showing an unprecedented growth. The huge number it is pulling shows that improving games is marketable.

  3. Good to see a comeback this really is a good game I love all the characters just want more content like clothes for a start and eventually multiplayer it would be a huge competitor to gta

  4. The game is awesome but i have around 70 hours and nearly everything is done, even side missions and i don't have a reason to replay the game so that is my problem with the game.
But i sure would buy every extension

  5. Pretty sure Cyberpunk Edgerunner took a looong time to make. Since it was started during the early stages of the game development. For people to so easily assume that there Will definetely be a season 2 is just too ignorant. and even if they did we won't be seeing it for several years to come.

  6. It's funny you mention a board-game as a potential expansion of the franchise. I suspect we would at least see an update to the Cyberpunk TTRPG series, seeing as the creator of the TTRPG (Mike Pondsmith) was credited in the anime seems to still be actively consulting for CDPR.

  7. the release of the anime this late ended up benefitting the game a lot now that is much more stable and has mod support now.
had the anime been released shortly after launch things wouldn't look so pretty for cdpr.

  8. The player count jumped because ppl were waiting for Cyberpunk to be good (it still isn't) also the state of gaming is so pathetic right now everyone's going back and revisiting previously released titles

  9. I don't want to be a buzzkill but this huge influx of player may not be as good as we think it may be. It's good, sure, more visibility for the game, etc… but the CDPR is a company and it cares only about money. The only way this influx is GOOD in the way we think it is is if this influx is of new players and not of returning players (who didn't have to pay for the privilege).

  10. I've recently started replaying it because at launch it was unoptimized and my pc isn't the best plus the amount of glitches made it impossible for me to get far in the story but after all the patches it is far better than launch.

  11. Honestly, I think the single expansion is all we'll be getting for Cyberpunk, despite the influx of players and attention. Will this influx convince CDPR to keep putting out patches for the foreseeable future? Certainly. Will it be enough to get them to keep developing on RED engine for DLC instead of switching over to Unreal for other projects? Probably not. Unreal is a great engine that can do tons of things RED just simply can't keep up with, and is mod friendly.

However, I do think this influx will go a long way toward a Cyberpunk sequel on the Unreal engine. We can only hope they won't bungle it again.

  12. well hopefully if they do make a cyberpunk online it is on unreal then it should look better and hopefully maybe there will be less of a chance the games they'll make will be less buggy

  13. As much as I was hyped about the concept of this game (being a big fan of blade runner myself) I have to say that I was very disappointed and even with all the updates, I just can't stand the npc's AI and how monotone this game feels. Compared to masterpieces like the original mafia or LA noir, you can tell that graphics are not everything.
