In this video I tested the new Ray Reconstruction feature of DLSS 3.5 in the new 2.0 update of Cyberpunk 2077. I tried it at 4K, 1440p and 1080p resolutions, using the Ray Tracing Overdrive settings (it only works with those settings at the moment).

  1. All I know is that after this update cyberpunk is probably the best optimized game on the market. I dont Even have an Nvidia GPU and the CPU optimizations alone have improved my performance by like 20%.

Im so proud of CDPR for making up for the terrible launch.

  2. Hopefully this could run in the 4070 i have, i noticeed the vram usage would go down even while having soo mnay things on, but than go back up with fram gen. If i could get 30 FPS and more with it, no need for Fram gen

  3. I've been putting off playing CP 2077. I tried it originally on PS5 when it came out, but I did not like it. Patch 1.6 was a massive step in the right directrion, but I felt as though there was still some room for improvement. Since then i put together a pc with an RTX 4080, a R7 5800x3d and 32gigs of RAM. I just tried the game on my LG C1 oled at 4k performance DLSS, with RT overdrive and ray reconstruction and I gotta say that's what I had in mind when I saw the first trailer. I think we finally arrived! It took them 3 years but it's finnally time to play!

  4. Are you recording on the same PC as your gameplay? Only reason I ask, I use a Capture Card 2 pc setup, when I enable DLSS Frame Generation, althought I'm getting 60fps at 4k, the lag that is generates when moving is insane.

  5. I'd just keep ray tracing at ultra or even psycho and then play at 1440p at quality and get a high frame rate expiernce. I think it's like 100+ frames with that setting. You don't want to play games at 40 fps on mouse and keyboard. I mean you can, but you need at least 60 and 100 fps is really good.

  6. I will be playing this game with a RTX 4080, in a 27 inch monitor 170hz, and so far I was testing it with max settings and RT overdrive (DLSS balanced) getting about 65-75 fps and Max settings and RT overdrive (DLSS Quality, and FG on) getting about 90-125 fps. And to be honest besides FPS being higher when using FG on, I did not see a difference at all🤣. Which option would you recommend me guys? Or do you have a different suggestion?

    Thanks in advance!

PD:Yes, I did have Ray reconstruction turned on in both scenarios

  7. So, I was playing cyberpunk and to improve it I activated the option only for RTX video cards (My video card is GTX, this happened because I didn't read the name RTX) so now I can't open the game anymore, after a few seconds of game loading screen crashes. I already installed the game again, checked the integrity of the files and nothing resolved it. Would you know what I can do in this situation?

  8. Obsessed with reflections in puddles but when cars drive through them no splashing at all. The reflections are not realistic either. Depending in light source and intensity the reflections would change while you were moving some angles would wash out or be over saturated etc. Not realistic at all. I do not care one smidge of 1% about any ray/pathtracing hard pass. I want native and realitic mechanics thats all.

  9. Ray Reconstruction is A LIFE SAVER for the Reflections like, for real?!! It makes them Much better then native res. Its crazy and people should take advantage of this new technology!😊
