This is actually a realistic PC spec. Thank you for testing this.
Frame gen is not to keep a stable 60 fps but to raise the frame rate for 120, 165 or 240hz monitors, and for that it works great.
this implementation of fsr and frame generation is terrible it’s the 3.0 version, the 3.1 version fixes many of the issues it had you can use it with mods
ayy its very similar to my old pc except i had 16gb of ram
strangely i remember it running worse near the 20 fps mark
on my new pc i can definetly see the use of frame gen on fsr 3.1 i can now run at 120fps max settings at 1440p with raytracing ultra so thats solid
as stated by amd you have to at least reach a stable 60 fps in order to maintain a good experience with frame gen, its also not as polished as nvidia dlss so the lower the fps the worse artifacting or flickering will be visible
