After the 2.1 update for Cyberpunk was released, I finally started playing it. For the last few weeks I’ve easily spent far more time fiddling with setting and staring at the frame rate counter than I was actually playing the game.
Two or three days ago I stumbled across a video showing an FSR 3 mod for Cyberpunk on the Steam Deck and I figured what the heck, I’ll give the mod a shot.
The frame rate was significantly increased but would vary wildly which ultimately I found incredibly distracting. I tried and tried to see if I could cap it to no avail.
I finally stumbled across something that has smoothed out the frame rate (so that it’s not constantly going up and down crazily) as well as fixing all the glitches that the FSR 3 mod introduced.
In this video, I’ve attempted to capture and explain what I’ve found as best I can, hopefully others out there playin’ Cyberpunk on the Steam Deck will find this useful.
