Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.61 on Steam Deck. Going over performance and settings. This is an amazing update for the game and really makes a difference on Steam Deck. I have compared here the performance of the game before and after the update. Frame Time improvements here with more CPU and GPU usage are great.

  2. Couple added things here. For visual quality its hard to see much clarity difference. But on the decks screen in person things often do look a bit nicer and clearer to me. For UMA Buffer / Vram these were with bios settings at 4g not the standard 1g. Lemme know how the game is performing for you guys and feel free to toss in your suggestions for everyone.

  6. Wondering if anyone here has my remedy. So prior 2.0 build I ran with steam deck preset and simply put it on quality preset. Ran a very stable 30fps and ran with that for many hours. Now in the middle of the story of my playthrough 2.1 looks great, but ruined the preset i preferred. I see your video settles down for medium > low settings but I was able to run much higher than that with the steam preset. What needs to change to just get my settings back?

  8. The only way I could get a steady frametime with FSR 1.0 was to use the Steam Deck's built-in FSR toggle with 1152x720p resolution. But yeah, now when 2.1 is out, there's really no competition, the game looks and plays absolutely fantastic. I would even argue that Cyberpunk is starting to become one of the best optimized games out there, considering the visuals at display.

  14. Hope you don't mind: If you want to achieve an even better performance, I'd recommend checking out my Golden 40 preset.
    Exploring Night City on the Steam Deck with 40 FPS at 40Hz is such an amazing feeling.

  15. For those wondering, cdpr's fsr 2.1 is poorly implemented and also affected consoles, as they didn't use the dev kit, but got merged within the engine.

    Those who need can use the cyberfsr mod at nexus, and even leave a tip to it's creator given how cdpr said it wasn't good, just to underdeliver.
