I mean he'll, can't blame them for warning you.
Well deserved
I got it for Christmas on my PS4 physical copy also come to PS5 update and I literally just picked up a PS5 today
I started playing this game on a base PS4. Yes, it was slow but playable for the first half of the game. My main gripes were mostly with design choices, not performance. I dropped the game and returned to it after getting a PS5 two months later. It was faster, so less annoying to play but I experienced a hard system crash once per day. Only one such crash on PS4 altogether. So it's not necessarily optimised for the newer hardware either.
Finished the game and still got a refund 4 months after purchase and I don't feel bad about it. CDPR deserved everything that has happened since.
Good Advice, but…why still sell it on PS4?
I was so excited for Cyberpunk but I'm glad I have been waiting until all of the issues have been fixed. Probably means I'll be waiting until I buy a ps5 🤣
I’m pretty sure this game will haunt me for the rest of time the game could have been fine if they had waited even a couple years and fixed the cops and AI specifically but also bugs it’s not a bad game as a game but man why push a game out so early and ruin your companies good will with literally everyone 😞
"Why do it?" You miss 100% of shots u dont take.
Get back to making a new Witcher game please. Just follow the last formula please!!
Or just don’t buy it at all, The game feels hollow and unfinished.
i never get game any console or pc
fuck that game shit always shit
Do not compare shit like this to FF14. There is a difference between a game that bombs because of bad development and one that bombs because of rushed development. Ff14 was remade from the ground up. Cp77 will just be fulfilling the promises they already made. Likely not even that though
I’ve played it on base PS4 since launch and each patch since. I can say don’t buy it. Just don’t
You guys just said it not an RPG ??? like what, it has the same level of chocies as Witcher 3/ So if u think Witcher 3 is not an action RPG than Cyberpunk is not too
Cyberpunk, at least on PC, is a really good game. Most of the bugs are funny now rather than game breaking. Like cars falling out of the sky and stuff. Its got its issues, certainly. But it also has moments of brilliance that are not reached by other titles. Its probably not worth playing it or buying it on old generation consoles though. Id wait until you can get a next gen system. IMO they should never have released it on old gen systems.
Cyberpunk is not worth buying until it all the features they promised it would have are actually there. I'd be happy with at least most of them. Even if they get it running beautifully on PS4, it's still not the game we were promised on any platform. There are extensive lists of things we were told were in the game, but are no where to be found come release. There's even been a feature of note that was removed post launch.
Wasn't hyped to begin with as I didn't think they showed very interesting abilities, mainly hacking or getting tracking bullets…seemed kind of basic. But the thing that seems a shame is it sounded like they tried to create a more vertically integrated world, not just a flat sandbox which most games are. That sounded interesting to me, I wonder if that idea actually came to fruition in the game.
If you liked the witcher 3 you won't like this trash
I have not "moved on to the next thing." This experience with CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077 now informs my decision making with every single game purchase from any developer. I will never buy another game from CDPR that is NOT heavily, heavily discounted on sale, a long time after release, if then.
They should of just made another Witcher. Instead they rush out a first person futuristic piece of trash.
My ps4 doesn't turn on anymore, it only does the sounds. I think I might sell it for some bucks. Yeah my comment has nothing to do with the game, lol.
honestly its true you should buy it on the ps4 or the xbox one only buy it on the new consoles or pc
Played it on PS5 and highly recommend it!!!!
I don’t know how it is on PS4 but the game itself is great
Still curious about this game but glad I held off.waiting for the native next gen release
They cant fix this without starting from scratch the base core of the game if shit and not waht was promised so its DOA
can anyone even fathom Nintendo allowing a game this broken on their console?
(not saying Nintendo are perfect angels)
gamers & industry pundits need to remember this.
that's all i can say at this point, lol.
this whole debacle hasn't just exposed CDProjekt but also (more importantly) MS & Sony and just how little regard they have for their customers if it means an extra buck or two.
like, sure, of course we already had an understanding but this is actual, concrete, solid proof.
the unregulated gambling & micro-transactions weren't bad enough, now we've got the console manufacturer's knowingly selling us a broken f*ing game but it's totally OK cuz they put out a disclaimer.
🤡🤡🤡
Well then make a fucking PS5 easier to buy. This shit is why I went full PC. Sony used to be my favorite. Now they can kiss my ass 🖕🏼
Microsoft needs to buy CD Project Red.
Why is it back on psn if it's not fixed? And it's not I tested it last night its still a buggy mess but I do have to say its alot better then at launch
"Why they do it?" – Its not the money. Not in that way.
Its contractual. They very likely have it written that the project would release in all platforms, current and next- and any of the milestones/checkmarks not filled gives room to a breach of contract. The issue is the people up top- the investors, board members, etc- and generally in these kinds of contracts pretty much any sort of consequences can be tied to meeting minimum goals- or the whole thing blow up as a contractual breach. I dont know the details of this case, but maybe the extent of investors who would jump ship, retreat from further investment, liquidating/claiming to draw from the profits (i forgot the term)… point is- not delivering on what they promised can have very bad consequences for future projects or their position as a whole (like say, having less leeway/control over future projects).
Heck depending on the contract they could have 0 sales on that particular platform to fulfill the contract (given the total number of sales elsewhere).
Its more about not loosing money, investors, control and power in their tricky dynamic.
Trust me, dumber things were done for contractual and or stock/investor reasons.
Heck i can even imagine a case like gamestop where a number of investors would have pressured the company into not recovering, like investors already planing with the bankrupcy in mind, planing on heavily shorting the company ahead of outsiders.
We have to understand these companies arent 1 thinking group that behave in the same logic of a smaller business. One of the main driving forces (frequently the biggest driving force) are the investors, and they dont really care enough about a company culture, its products or the costumers.
The sex scenes in this game are nightmare fuel. Truly
I played on PC with gtx1080 and it was wonderfull. Bought on lunch.
One thing I don't understand in life:
The stupid mafia ads at the beginning of every video I watch
Now physical copy on sale for up to 50% new. Psn selling full price
After watching quite a bit of the games content, I'm not so sure what kind of "bad experience" Sony is actually talking about. If i were a supporter of transhumanism in times of a "small window of opportunities"(how they say), had a lot of money and the typical god-complex that comes with a lifestyle like that, you'd bet I'd use my influence to make sure that a potential million seller with a narrative like Cyberpunk would either not being released or at least a huge flop on the market.
I am glad that others are enjoying the game. But for me, and bugs aside, it is missing too many of the advertised concepts and features. I'm not even talking the initial, pie in the sky, promises from years ago. The Night city wire ads were only weeks away from launch, saying things clearly not in the game.
I wish Steam warned me not to buy it on PC. I hope one day that game becomes better kinda like how mods made Fallout 4 better
Oh STFU Cyberpunk was in better shape on premiere than Witcher 3 and you praise this bc everybody do that. You are week mentality individual.
SONY AND ITS DISRESPECT.
CD Project Red deserves everything they get. The Witcher 1, 2 & 3 were great games. But I think they lost all credit on 2077 for good and well deserved.
Bought and played on PS5. It was a solid 8/10 game, excluding the bugs. Glitches are one thing, but I think it's just become fashionable to hate on the game now. People are now talking about the game underneath the technical shortcomings like it's garbage, even though it is easily comparable to other games of similar scope and rating. But because it's not "GTA; Another One" people think they're clever when they ignore what it actually did well just to focus on what it doesn't, nor was ever going to, have.
If you go in expecting Cyberpunk GTA, well first of all you're not a very savvy consumer and you should do more research than playing fantasy trailers on repeat in your own head, but secondly you're naturally going to spend more time wishing it was something it's not than actually enjoying it for what it is. A solid story driven single player FPS.
It's not a 10/10 game, even without the glitches. It's an 8/10 game, which is more than respectable. 7.5/10 at absolute worst.
My ps4 broke after playing for 20hours
I think most of the criticism doesn't result from the game being objectively bad, which on PC it certainly isn't, but from the gameplay not being what people wanted it to be. In my opinion if you would cut all the open world crap out of the game and the game would just be the main quests (and someone would drive you from your apartment to every main quest) it would be an amazing game. But I liked The Witcher 2 better than The Witcher 3 (because of the open world elements). Others have problems with the game being in 1st person (which I find really well done) etc, but that's just taste, not the game being bad.
