  1. I've got a question when it comes to the Nintendo Switch Cartridge from Ubisoft specifically, does the ROM part of the cartridge mean "read only memory" or something else? Can you answer that question, Spawn Wave?

  2. I got my PS VR during the pandemic because…. what else was I gonna do? lol

  3. People don't seem to understand how NFTs work. If a digital game is an NFT, there can be a smart contract included on the blockchain. This smart contract would give royalties to the original creator (in this case the publisher and/or developer) every time that NFT is resold to another user. Publishers would be making money in perpetuity off of "used games". I honestly can't see why the publishers WOULDN'T want to implement this model.

  4. If microsoft and sony make their own platform for NFTs they could program the blockchain to require a fee that is paid to them for every single transaction, and in cases where users rely on the platform to find buyers and sellers instead of doing the trades them selves, there could be a listing fee that takes a percentage of the sold price for the platform holders- Microsoft and Sony.

  5. Game companies could make money on used stuff by doing what steam does with their steam dollars. Just create a little tax on every NFT transaction between players that goes back to the developer.

  6. I’ve been wanting a VR headway for a while. I was going to buy the Quest 2 until it was announced that you had to create a FB profile. Since then, I’ve been waiting for the PSVR2. I really hope Sony knocks it out of the park with this one. Now I just have to find a PS5.

  7. No companies don't tend to shape their marketing plans based on a few blurry JPEGs or shaky info even if accurate, you fail to realize that the vast majority don't spend all day online trying to find out about things before they're supposed to be public knowledge.
So it's not even like "everyone already knows" because it's a rather small group of people who care to find out that kind of stuff before they officially reveal it anyway.

Since Christmas is still somewhat fresh in people's minds it's kinda like impatient kids trying to find out what's in their presents ahead of time instead of just allowing themselves to be surprised by it when it's time.
The parents don't typically go "-Oh shoot, they've figured us out, we might as well tear off the wrapping paper right now then" instead of holding off until the intended date.

  8. Cod vangaurd came out: no one's talking about it

Battlefield 2042 came out: no one talking about it

Halo infinte came out: no one talking about it

Really feels like the community is just getting tired and burnt out of the money grubby Gaas model.

  9. Another big factor with VR is cost and in cases space. The Valve Index has a lot of features I want, but that thousand dollar price tag is a no from me, plus it needing the base stations and all that, but something that can operate without a PC for 300 bucks but can still plug into a PC for more advanced apps? hard yes.
My lack of space is why I love inside out tracking.

  10. Nft benifits the platform holder like a mf! They would no longer need to be sole distributer or provide security to the files yo shi legit or its not lol. Severs could be on anyone and everyones computers, multiplayer games become income non players can make money, games can live die and revive in a player/investor enviorment. Plus it creates a way to own a digital game or single piece of content and a way to tranfer it securely. Make no mistake it may not be soon but as more people start using crypto the meaning of owning a piece of content will change and so must your business structures 😂 you cant sell the same shi to the next generation of gamers the blockchain allready exists bro! My kids all have wallets and im not talking apple pay lmao! Look at that crypto market again thats not poor people money lol thems institutions.

  11. Yo Wassup Jon(SW).

The Yearly Online Multiplayer Shooters are stuck in a rut abit like the Sports Games, they all need reboot and rethink but Money Talks, so while they keep Selling Millions these Big Companies will continue too Release them Year on Year.

Elden Ring is looking great as is but I'm not surprised it's getting influenced by other Games like Demon Souls on the PS5 but the main thing is not too take theirs off the Gameplay aspects of the Game over making it look better Graphically.

PS3 Emulation right on the PC is very neat indeed.

I am looking forward too seeing what the PSVR2 is gonna look n be like and I am wondering if Sony will make the PSVR a separate Division too the Console Division going forward in the future.

CDPR will definitely go with a New Generation Re-Release on the PS5 n Series X/S, everything else could be anything.

The Samsung Hub will probably be a Pass for me.

PSNow and Amazon Gaming are Platforms that isn't good very good right now at the mo guys.

Nice Poll, I am definitely interested in VR but the main thing is the Price for me and the Standalone VR Headsets is definitely the way too go for VR too make it as a Gaming Platform in its own right for the Mainstream too start latching on.

Good Comment, NFT's is another form of Microtransations, which isn't gonna be in Gaming at all, especially with that All Digital Gaming Future coming guys.
