Should You Play Cyberpunk 2077 in 2023?

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

Cyberpunk 2077 in 2023 is WONDERFUL! Even on last gen consoles. It’s a bit rocky on last gen still, but very playable. One new gen/PC this game is a 20/10, but ONLY if you know what type of game you’re about to play. If you’re expecting some massive sandbox game like GTA, you WILL be disappointed. This isn’t GTA 2.0, this is CYBERPUNK! And it is, marvelous. In my opinion, it always has been, but certainly in 2023.

Is cyberpunk worth it? Is cyberpunk good now? Is cyberpunk good in 2023? Should I buy Cyberpunk? Watch and find out 😉

  1. although cyberpunk is not my favorite kind of game, ever since your first stream all the way back when it releasead it looked amazing. either that or your stream was amazing, but i think it might have been both

  2. I wouldn't say it delivered on all its promises, but its a fun game nonetheless. With added patches you got to experience a fun and satisfying. But compared to what was advertised, many was disappointed and is hurt by that betrayal. The hate mostly isn't to the game but the to the fact people felt lied to and they tried to hide it which means they knew they lied to everyone.

  3. Only reason it was memed for bugs bc it released buggy asf for everyone even i had problems with alot of stuff so i just gave up playing and took the chance of my money back which is rare. I did get like 35% through it or so and was enjoying it. It was pre good.

  4. Your buddy playing on Xbox one S is next gen. I played this game on Xbox one and it was as bad as they say. My experience was completely different then yours. Nearly all fights the weapons were the last asset to be loaded, so I run into blocks, the textures slowly load in, and they now attack me and I am holding nothing. Once my hands render then so too does the gun and I can fight back. I did not experience the crashes everyone talked about, but this was easily the worst game I ever played. Is should be noted I am a causal gamer so I haven’t played much. Also this was the first CDPR game.

Also your reasoning is bad. You say that a majority of issues were on last gen consoles and that it was heavily advertised for last gen, but then in the same breath say, but it was blown way out of proportion. If the core group that was being advertised to had the worst experience, no it was not overblown. Your good experience does not invalidate people’s bad experience and vice versa. There is no way you can think CDPR deserves any apology. They rushed the game and it sucked. Even now most times I see the game it is with people using mods. If the base game is such a masterpiece why use mods?

  5. Unfortunately I wrote the game off at launch. The only good part about cyberpunk was the anime. I’m not giving a lying corporation my money, especially since all it does is encourage these greedy devs to release an unfinished, buggy mess, instead of a real game. They wrought what they sowed. As someone who has an Xbox one and PC, I would always have to choose pc, for a game like this. This game is unplayable without mods, have you seen it? People on old gen consoles don’t have the hardware or ability to use mods that allow them to enjoy this “great” game you speak of. They get a goofy little story with little to no closure, that feels so underwhelming. Just to prove my point, you have the option of what kind of life you want to live in the beginning. Regardless of what you choose, you die, and turn into V. What?!? If this isn’t supposed to be some GTA wannabe, why are we not allowed to experience night city in the way these people would? Why do we HAVE to be V? Watch the anime and you’ll have a good time. It has an impactful story that shows what night city could’ve been. Manny reviews also has a good video covering the story of this game. Thanks for reading my long ass comment 🙏.

  6. Great video. However, as a huge fan of fhe game, i have to say it is not nearly what people expected nor what was advertised. I do NOT recommend the game YET, but with all the overhauls CDPR has said will be coming with the expansion, i am very confident that they will deliver on a great game. The amount of changes they said are coming is absolutely insane and it may even add the currently non existent sandbox aspect of it. I seriously recommend everyone to wait 3 months to play the game, everyone who has played PL has said it feels like cyberpunk 2.0

  7. Most of the supposed lies and broken promises by CDPR were because of features not seen in the game that weren't really confirmed by CDPR in the first place. If you ask all these people who are talking about the lies from CDPR, they won't be able to point out specifics. Most of them will point you toward the 48 minute gameplay demo that they released back in 2018 where there are indeed some cut content. Most articles who trashed the game also referenced that 48 minute minute gameplay demo. But what those people and media will not tell you is that if you go to that video yourself, it's still on the official Cyberpunk 2077 youtube channel by the way, is that it's littered by disclaimers that it's a work-in-progress video and everything is subject to change. There's literally an overlay text saying that throughout the video, and the video description repeats it. What's more is that the narrator kept repeating that over the course of the video. There's also a Reddit thread that poorly translated a CDPR interview from German which resulted in more misinformation about the game, and people expecting more features than what CDPR really confirmed.

It's happening even now with Phantom Liberty. Just yesterday I saw a social media post from IGN saying that cyberpsychosis will now be a thing in the game once Phantom Liberty drops, and their source for this is videogamechronicle which interviewed the devs. But when you check the article from the same site that they referenced, the devs actually vertabim said that they are not going as far as to introduce cyberpsychosis to V. It's just that there's going to be penalties now to equipping cyberware. You can't just install everything without a care in the world. Problem is, IGN's post already got so many traction, and I bet that when people who saw that social media post plays Phantom Liberty and don't see cyberphycosis feature, they will claim that CDPR lied again, when in truth, it's a mistake by media.

  9. The story is literally a cyberpunk genre staple. I played an snes game in the 90's called Shadowrun. Its a cyberpunk genre rpg. There's literally a portion of the game where you need to disarm your character's cortex bomb or its game over.

  10. dont play the game now, wait until the expansion comes out in september cause they’re overhauling all of the mechanics and adding all of that to the base game

  11. Let’s face it.
It’s better than overwatch 2, halo infinite and almost every other AAA game in recent years.
Why would you not want to at least try this game after every other game has done nothing but dissapointed?

  12. PS4 or XOne the platforms that they sold and make videos of it running pretty preem on the last day of pre order, it's not about the f bugs, it's about this absolutely shit practice, and how it cucked everyone that bought on last gem, and will continue to fuck these people since dlc will only come out on the new/actual gen, absolutely garbage company that I can't believe people are forgiving so easily

  13. I was lucky to get in on PC after I watched a YT vid about someone assuming it would perform better on there at launch. I have gone through the game a few times with different paths. And currently trying it out on PS5, gave my PC to my Ma as she got all her stuff hacked. And I bought it again, I listen to the music like Samurai songs and the Run The Jewels song to hype myself when I go back to the game. Also, despite originally myself being one of those who felt cheated by CDPR because they narrated and showed a bunch of stuff that didn't turn out in the game like advertised- I expected very detailed and unique bunch of cars, monorails, car combat and more. Half expected to meet some of the characters in different videos seen before launch. It wasn't to be an exact copy, but I grew to love it. And Phantom Liberty has brought a bunch of hope and hype back for me. Thanks for this video and if you take the time to read my comment, have a good one, Choom! 😁

  14. I am a cyberpunk fanatic since the 90s,and truly adore this game, I have 500 hours in it and playing it since day 1. But I am real, and I think we all need to be real. It is still not the full game we were promised. Plenty of features were teased or talked about during the marketing of the game that are today not in the game. Police systems, appearance modifications, more cyberwre options that show up on your character. More choices and more impactful dialogue, Life paths that actually affect the game in a bigger way outside the intro cutscene and a couple of skill check dialogues. As I said, I love this game. But we need to hold studios accountable to things like these, or other studios just continue the same empty promises. Criticism is good when it is real and not just hate.

  15. I hardly even knew about this game until 6-7 months after it's release, and didn't start playing it until 7-8 months after that [shortly after Patch 1.5 dropped]. Since that time, I've put in about 2400 hours in Night City playing and replaying in different ways, different characters, etc. with great satisfaction. I'm giving it a rest now until the changes in Patch 1.7 arrive, and then the Phantom Liberty expansion is dropped. This game has become a significan't part of my life, and promises to continue doing so for a long time.

In short…yes, it's worth it. So very worth it.

  17. The edge runner tv series is what saved the game and then the glorious updates and dlc came. Cyberpunk 2077 is my standard for games. Combat mechanics and other things you can do. The main story is short, the side quests are better than the main story. The detail in characters is great, from your bro Jackie Wells and Dex Deshawn being a gangster. Not to mention the others. I did the main story before doing chipping in and I know that there are other ending options which I will do. I tried going back to skyrim and fallout 4 and I couldn't because of how much the combat sucks in comparison.

  18. I liked the game but please don’t lie about rpg element of the game cuz none of your choices matter on the story you can only choose the ending.

  19. I feel like the people who were mad it wasn’t running well on Xbox one and ps4 were wrong. Cd projekt red was nearly forced to put it on a 10 year old console. It really deserved to be on a pc and a ps5

  20. I never lost hop for this game or gave it any hate, I preordered it and waited at GameStop for it to drop and made a decent run on the game and yeah I had issues with the crashes and stuff I really advocated on it but wanted to wait out the patches and hot fixes, plus they kept adding new content, glad to see the dlc coming soon
