TLDW? At rarity blue or higher, short circuit’s damage more than doubles — and since it is an entry-level quickhack, you can fit this into any build to gain access to an absurdly powerful, stealthy attack without investing into intelligence.

Yeah short circuit is extremely OP. I've read reviews that say hacking is medioce, these morons just don't know how to play games.
How do you get the Blue or purple rarity preem hacks? It only shows me the green version.
Yeah full intellect builds are op af. I can clear out entire buildings of enemies withought even getting out of my car.
Use contagion. Spec into poison damage and crit chance and crit damage. You should be able to hit up to 5 enemies at once for upwards of 20k.
Can't seem to get the purple ones, shop inventory won't change. Lvl 19 SC: 28 will check back at a higher level.

the quickhack delas 1,4k dmg per second. That makes the game ridicioulisly easy
Short circuit is op, but not even comparable to over heat or contagion. Those hacks are destructive. Dealing 900 damage per second for 10 seconds is like 9K from infinite range. Without even boosted gear.
Wait…uncommon short circuit is just a one time base damage and then rare short circuit more than doubles its damage AND makes that double damage the per second tick over a period of time? Did I see that correctly??? If that’s true, it’s so busted going from uncommon to rare.
Shock is OP as hell. I have a feeling it might get nerfed later down the line. A guard is sitting there minding his own business, souped up to the gills in cybernetics. Next thing you know, some dude from out nowhere short circuits them and they have no idea what the hell happened or where it came from. Consider that V's optics have 8x magnification, they can be sipping a latter, drop a quick glance and boom! Actually restarted a mission when I had to kidnap this one guy from disco and realized all I had to do was short circuit him from a distance rather than go through his guards.
