Did I hear you right? The founders edition is better performance and cheaper, Asus are charging more for what's advertised as a cooler card because if the lower power limit, what a scam.
Well I can't recognize screentearing I always said that. But by fps side there is no problem it is 60.
Isn't it also the varying framerates? 60 fps cap on YT versus unlocked framerates in the captured footage?
I could barely notice any screen-tearing after the beginning, where it was most noticeable
Hey bud awesome vid mate always love your work. I finally managed to purchase a 5900x on Amazon theres like 17 left lol
Rebar on or off mate?
There is still tearing and stuttering , a benchmark video is one thing but I would not play with ANY tearing or stutter why so why would I want to see games running like it . Give up a few frames and your folling will grow.
Which 3090 model did you replace it with? The Strix?
I still noticed some screen tearing, but it's better than before.
For example, you can see it around 9:20 min pretty good.
looks great to me
Screen Tearing at 10:10
Is there any advantage to a 5950 over a 5800 in gaming?
I guess screen tearing is caused by having V-Sync off. Because when you have a FreeSync/GSync on the screen, there is no tearing on the display (but maybe there are on the captured video).
So maybe, just turning back V-Sync ON will fix it. But then it will cap the FPS.
You shouldn't be bothered having screen tearing in your benchmark videos because they are benchmark. If not benchmark, yes enable V-Sync ๐
Tearing 95% gone but I see what you mean the gameplay doesn't seem that smooth like frames are missing even though your fps is above 60 and frametimes are stable. Thats gotta be the capture software.
Oh great graphics the smooth
Watched in 4k and it looks as good as we can expect from youtube I think.
Try to set the screen refresh rate at rivatuner's framerate limit, I think it helps with screen tearing
O Mr. Bang, I had 90% of the same components you had til you ditched our ASUS Tuf, O well , I'll stay strong
I've seen no tearing in this one, but i also don't have an high end monitor, so who knows what others see.
Also how lucky you must've been to get an FE card from nvidias webside, that's insane. Maybe i have to look onto there side more as well, can you maybe tell me the time you found it ? I was lucky with my suprim x 3090 when i could'nt sleep anymore and was casually looking threw sides at 6am haha
Is the FE Card not getting extreme hot compared to the Asus 3090 Tuf ?
The higher i go with the resolution the lower is my turbo boost with the Asus 3090 Tuf OC.
Ad 1080 P it will boost to 1950 and ad 4K it will boost to 1700. Is that normal ?
I enjoy your videos, they are already perfect. Well if you want that 100% (a perfectionist like you will), maybe instead of passthrough, mirror your screen to your capture device using hdmi, and cast your sound using voicemeeter banana, you can enjoy uncapped video in gameplay and capped capture in capture card!
Something I still dont like about Cyberpunk is how obvious the pop in is. At a distance when driving on the long highways it's super obvious and constant. I get it's a performance booster but just wish they'd try to disguise it better. But then again the whole game is a mess lol
There's still a lot of tearing. You can easily see it on the lamp posts while you're driving. However, it is different type of tearing that is better than some of your recent videos where it was very noticeable. The tearing now is more random across the image whereas recently it has been as if the capture device has been trying to sync but getting the timing just off so you got a moving line of tearing going up the image.
I checked some of your old videos from around 3 months ago where I didn't remember the tearing and it actually is there and very similar to this video. The only issue I can see with this one is that there is some stuttering compared to the Cyberpunk video I checked against [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUA1JYT7M08 ]
I just installed a 400w bios on my 3090 tuf. Best of both worlds, Founders edition runs too hot for me.
tearing gone mate. cheers
very few actually ๐
Watching this on a calculator. Looks good man.
Ah a changed intro…. Like it
I see some screen tearing here and there but that's only when I'm trying really hard to look for it but it does look very good. Also I was wondering if you had wolfenstein new order and if you've ever played it with your hardware? For me when I try to play it my cpu will just randomly get hammered to 95% then I get like 4 fps for a long time then suddenly turn normal. I have a 5950x but only 2080super. You don't have to make a video on it or anything I was just wondering.
Port royal: 13564 with 5950x, no oc, pbo on, smt off, 3090rtx strix o24 in game mode 1890mhz and 3600mhz, 19l ram. Is that a good score for this non oc setup?
It seems like the smoothness took a small hit but overall worth it for the virtually completely tear-free experience. Thanks for listening to our suggestions ๐
