NVIDIA has revealed their new generation of graphics cards, the RTX 40 series. RTX 4090 will be available at $1,599. I explain why the Cyberpunk performance comparison has a few people confused.

Even with Cyberpunk 2077 running max settings and Ray tracing Overdrive mode. The RTX 4090 is still considerably faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, without RT Overdrive mode enabled.
I don't want fake resolution ,Fake FPS and Ray tracing This rtx 40 series and pricings are complete Joke . people who have Good functioning Brain will not buy these Trash 40 series GPUs

It's funny how Nvidia have succeeded in their strategy of inventing a new product tier and pretending it was nothing new, not just the same chip you would get for half the price a couple of years ago. Perfect strategy. They introduce this 3090 omega super GPU, that is just still a cut down 102 die with more memory and pretend like it's some super ultra performance we haven't seen before so they set it at a ridiculous MRSP. But to soften the blow, they give most of that performance in the x80 card. Then boom, next generation the x80 is completely nerfed and suddenly the only way to get the high end performance if to buy that ridiculous x90, suddenly £1600-£1700 is the high end price point. They were planning this all along, even before shortage happened. It's genius, you can't fault them for it. Top end gaming performance went from £600-700(already higher than previously) to £1200 and then to £1600 all in a few years. What's next? They release 4090ti Super Mega for £2000. Then next generation the 5090 is a cut down x03 class GPU and the only way to get the x02 is that 5090ti. But hey price/performance still improved over the 4090ti since it's the same price but more powerful.
Really happy with my RTX 3080 Ti especially because of how well MW2 runs with DLSS (about 90 to 110 fps with extreme)
Leaning towards avoiding a day one purchase for now and just wait to see if prices drop..stock should be much better
To me, the pop ins still bother me. I hope they will give an option for really high end PC's to lessen that a bit.
If the leaked specs for the new AMD 7000 series are accurate then nvidia have a big problem & are about to be crushed, as long as the pricing is reasonable then they will take a huge share of the market, a lot of loyal nvidia customers have had enough of there bullshit.
And yet. Thing is the rtx 4090 really has to possibility to be literally 2 × faster than rtx3090 ti. On raw hardware performance.

Direct storage api:
Give the cpu only the data it actually needs. So it doesn't have e to waste time to transfer the data which was meant for the gpu.
And gpu doesn't have to. Wait for the instructions of the cpu to complete some tasks. Which boost it s raw performance.

Mesh shading:
Gpu scans the scene on Frame per frame basis.
Mesh shading determines the perfect lod that a mesh should be. To avoid having horrendous lod pop in.
And it will also seek for the part of the Meshes which aren't visible to not calculate it .
But It can also mean that the owners of a rtx 3060ti ans above don't need to upgrade to a rtx 4000 and simply wait for the rtx 5000
i think the more important part is why is the 4090 getting 22fps in cyberpunk 2077 i know the game runs like dogshit and is one of the worst optimized modern game to ever be made but holy shit thats embarrassingly low, not even 30fps.

I already thought it was a little nuts i paid 500 euro for a gtx 1080 in 2017.
Now they are selling a 4070, named in a 4080, for only 900 euro, almost double.

Seems to me like for high end, nvidia is still gonna be the choice because if you want high end, you’re probably gonna want Ray tracing to be functional
What I like the most about 4000 series is the 3 ghz overcloc ability. Each 70 mhz extra above 2000 mhz on the current cards core gives 5% performance increase in CPU limited scenarios and going from 2000 to 3000 mhz is going to be quite the difference in this area. This is real deal if you don't have the latest cpu and DLSS 3.0 reduce cpu bottlenecks even further.
I'm super excited. Been eye balling that brick they call ROG Strix 4090. Been using the Odyssey G9 1440p and a G7 4k. The performance boost in just the raw power compared to my 3080 12gb is gonna be so nice. The 3080 has a little struggle playing in the super ultra wide monitor.
I've been waiting for the 4000 series so I can get a 3000 series, I'm not buying the marketing Nvidia 3090 ti is gonna be overkill for most modern games we don't need this. Gaming companies are gonna become the new Apple, we need a new series every single year XD
RTX 4090 graphics card will be very good in terms of FPS performance in the truly legendary cyberpunk 2077 game, it will be better in 4K (ULTRA HD), the features are ten number five star video, good job my brother 🙂☺️🙏

I feel Nvidia is artificially limiting DLSS 3.0 to RTX 40 series so that gamers will buy the new cards for the "exclusive" features. I'm guessing that NVIDIa may enable DLSS to RTX 30 series cards in the future, if they get enough criticism or negative backlash. They did enable RTX with the GTX 10 series before, but they initially said GTX can't do ray tracing. 🤔
