  1. it's a good GPU but at 900€ here in Germany (if Americans wonder why it's so high, our prices are post sales tax) still a bit too pricey for me.
rumors suggest that the 4070 will release in April already and it's most likely gonna be way better priced than the other 40 series GPUs.
probably around $600 / 700€ or less, so I'll wait for that card to release.

  2. I got a used 3080 for $550 recently and while its a great card, i wish the power usage was a lot better. The power usage of the 4070ti is way better but i will just hold on for a few years and appreciate what I have. Prices for these new cards are pushing it

  3. Dlss 3.0 is great when activating it and getting 90ish + fps. Anything below that kinda sucks. I really love it. Just don’t push 4k to hard and try to force 60fps. The latency is really noticeable.

  4. Dlss 3 is great, amazing performance at 4k with a 70s card. I can't see a difference. So many haters for no reason, I get being upset that it did not come to the 30s card, but it required hardware. AMD people just hating even though amd is coming with something new like fsr3 too so there is that.

  5. Mr Portugal! Don't get to get in touch with AMD so you will have a 7950X3D for review and for use for future benchmarks! Your name is big enough to get some samples nowadays!

  6. Im not sure about this, but if it is the memory bus that is the bottleneck for 4k on 4070 ti, shouldn’t 4k DLSS be the sweet spot for this card as the internal resolution is 1440 p and thereafter upscaled?

  7. Just bought 4080 for my 1440p monitor. FG is amazing technology. Image quality with FG is higher than with DLSS on quality, and FG works super smooth. I hope this tech will be in every game.

  8. IDK about 40 series but 20 series performs better with 527.28 studio drivers than the game ready counterpart. It also performs better than either variant of the latest version. Getting ready to test it out on a couple of 30 series cards.
On another note, does anyone else feel like Cyberpunk just isn't as much fun after the past couple of major updates? They never did appreciably fix the police system except to just dial back the response a little. Still have to worry about getting shot in the back by cops just for being nice enough to come and save their asses. My favorite is when I get a warrant in the middle of an actual mission. Really adds a new layer to the difficulty.
I have been using Cyberpunk to do some benchmarking lately so I've actually been playing it a fair bit. The last update in particular just tanked performance.
I don't normally do the conspiracy theory thing but I think nVidia paid off CDPR to deliberately tank performance on all but 40 series GPUs so they could use the results to con people into thinking they need to buy 40 series.

  9. With rtx 3080 and i5 10400f, getting 60fps almost all the time in cyberpunk with all settings maxed out in 1080p.
I tested in 1440p too, but it works kind of strange, with many fps drops.
3080 is probably almost as strong as a 4070ti or something like this. Very good experience in cyberbug.

  10. I can tell I'm target audience for DLSS3 with Frame Generation. I'm more interested in 4070Ti and to some extent 4080 for 4k/120hz gaming. But I'm "quality over fps" type of guy. Perfectly fine with 60 fps or so. I can even play games at 45 fps and won't complain because I mostly play MMORPGs and (A)RPGs. I barely touch shooters.
AMD is (unfortunately) barely hanging there. Nvidia's technology is way superior. Yes AMD released a couple of cards that parallel in rasterization to 4070Ti/4080, but the more games add RT the more and more AMD will fall behind.
Nvidia is also FAR ahead of AMD when it comes to AI. This is why I believe AMD will have hard time catching up with new technology unless they do some drastic changes.
