  1. it stands for republic of gamers witch in and of itself is dumb because you are not supposed to have of in abbreviations. That is not how it works that would be like if USA was USOA but no cause that's not how it works. So, the way I see it ROG as one word and saying R then O then G are both incorrect. Therefore, in does not really make a difference how you say it because you are in a lose lose situation you are going to be incorrect saying either one. You might as well say the one you prefer.

  2. I have the tuf V2 of the 3060 and my CPU is a 3700x haha. It's so big never gets hot 😂so overbuilt. I play cyberpunk 2077 at 30 locked, everything cranked up to max settings and 1080p and that works for me the best.

  3. It's actually absurd that this card has more VRAM than a standard 3080.
Even more so when you think about that at 4k with RT on in Cyberpunk you may actually need more than 10 GB of VRAM after longer playsessions.

  4. RT does look better. Bit is it worth losing half your performance? IMO not really. Maybe on next gen cards. Also I noticed some games with RT try to make everything a mirror. Like the ground is super wet always and it makes it turn into a bunch of perfect little mirrors. Almost as if the effect is being exaggerated, then being closer to real life if that makes sense.

  5. First off the obvious, the game looks stunning in all settings from medium onwards, that cannot be denied, whether you can or cant play with RT, this game will impress you with its graphical fidelity.

Now, the 3060 is the weakest 60 card nvidia has put out since the GTX 460 (which back then was understandable, the GTX 295 was dual core), clearly, it is meant to run Cyberpunk with what would be seen as compromises in PC ethusiast circles, if you want to play with max settings including psycho RT (all RT including G.I , which looks drastically different) , without DLSS , it's going to be a 1080P 25fps experience, meant to be played with a controller, the 3060 is essentially just a GTX 1080Ti with AI hardware for RT , that's it, the 1080Ti was 700$ msrp 5 years ago when it launched in 2017 , the 3060 gives you that same performance but with newer hardware for the RT features for an MSRP of 330$ (i know we were never able to buy it at that).

There's going to have to be compromises if you're doing RT in a budget, it's inevitable, the 3060 whether we recognize it or not is still a 330$ gpu officially, most people who want 60fps will have to settle for 1080P, but in games where it is truly exploited like in CP2077 , it may be 1080P 30, and i get it that that seems unacceptable to most people.

But to be frank, Radeon is much worse at RT and it doesnt cost a lot less, in fact, the 6600 non-xt which barelly beats a 3050 (which is basically a 6 year old GTX 1070 with RT) has THE SAME MSRP as the 3060 , the 6600 non-XT was meant to ship for 330$ just like the 3060, it loses to the 3060 in rasterization, it gets absolutely decimated by the 3060 in RT and at least right now, FSR is nowhere near as good as DLSS.

When AMD kicked the prices up 1 notch with the renaming of the RX 5000 series i stopped making excuses for them, now we're in the 6000 series and they've ramped prices up 1 extra notch again…..they are not "for the people" , AMD is milking the market just as bad as nvidia because they're not even all in in the gpu market, their big source of income is still their cpu branch, which is their main branch.

If AMD is scalped less than nVidia that's because they're crappier, amd has worse drivers, relive is A LOT worse than shadowplay, they are NOT "cheap" , amd just too a huge dump on the 120$ – 180$ guy this gen just like nvidia, and they suck at RT and image reconstruction, im tired of content creators pretending like AMD isn't sub-par (not you Mr. Daniel Owen).

None of these companies have anything resembling pro-consumer practices (though i will point out, AMD Freesync and FSR being "open source" [but they're not…not really] is somewhat more pro-consumer) , so we should just pick what gives us better quality at our budgets, and when the prices go back to MSRP, other than the 6700XT , i dont see what amd gpu will people pick OVER the nvidia side.

tbh i hope Intel eats both of these fuckers alive, these people have been fucking around with us for 2 years now, they deserve to lose as much marketshare as Intel can take from them, Intel has x8 (800%) more money and power than both of these corporations alive, i really hope they lose everything.

  6. Who gives a flying shit, I still pronounce ASUS like Ay-sus and have been for over 20 years now, I don't give a shit if everyone and the company suddenly crucify you within the past several years if you don't pronounce it like Ay-zeus. And I pronounce BIOS like BI-AHSS not BI-OWS, fight me.
