  2. Playing it while this played made me even scared of the void. That inevitable truth sitting there staring at you with dark sunglasses and a silver hand with a smoke. Lingering at the corner of your eye, rushing you forward into that dark void. Desperate for one more hour of life.

  3. Perfect song to ponder what the game could've been… In another universe the game was even better than advertised and people to this day are still playing and gushing about it. By now they've probably released the first expansion pack too.

  4. “Blinding lights. It’s loud. I’m on stage and almost can’t breathe. I’m so damn full of….hatred
Then I let it all out into a mic. And I realise it didn’t help, I don’t feel any better”

  5. Wow.. this particular track from the game really does do a damn good job at capturing those feelings of complete despair and hopelessness.. during the scene where V wakes up on Vik’s table after being shot by Dex, then told that he’s going to die no matter what, really hits hard! especially when this is playing in the background.

  6. When listening to this soundtrack, there are 3 identifiable noises, that being the synths, the electric cello, and the voices. Almost every song, with the huge exception of The Rebel Path has all 3. The synths represent the moving city around you, the cello represents you as a human, and the vocal choir represents the influence of the corporations on your life. The Rebel Path is special in the sense that it doesn’t have the choir, which makes sense because Silverhand is free from influence from Arasaka, but the cello is extra distorted.
