I love cyberpunk
i can tell how invested you are in this game by how fast you're playing and uploading them lol, im only watching and i cant even keep up
Shame that you didnt get to carry over your old save for PL cause just like you said, all the characters you completed questlines for you get to call them at the hospital, and will have an end credit call scene and some of them are pretty heartbreaking as well; also during the AV ride if you had high affinity with Johnny, he's a lot warmer towards you (and I actually cried a little by what he said at the end! you should totally look it up)
You missed some of the Tower experience, since you focused mostly on the DLC, and not the base game. Romances included. You should watch a Youtube video or two on some of the differences. Also, Johnny can have hugely different responses depending on your relationship with him. Let me just say, that having a full relationship with Johnny (eligible for Don't Fear the Reaper) has an absolutely heartbreaking talk right before the end. I bawled like a baby.
For other things regarding the ending; it's good to see Yorinobu finally got his wish of (mostly) destroying Arasaka.
Or better yet, play through it yourself, just make sure you make the prerequisites.
Edit; also yeah, Songbird is totally ending up a brain in a jar, if you give her up.
That was a hell of an ending😨That is soooo rough wiping Johnny and getting nothing out of it. It was better when I zero'd myself for him, but this ending, you get nothing! That's whack choom!☹ I hope one of the other endings is better that this 🙁👍
"Nice" ending but you missed much here because you started over with the dlc. If you would have played with an old character from the maingame and had Johnny as a friend the flight with the AV would be much more intense… so intense that an old dog like me got an eye malfunction when I played it.
Also you were right if you had one or two romances back in NC you could have made some more calls before you get in the AV and also in the clinic.
Worth a replay at least in your own free time if not for youtube. But I wouldn´t complain if you do it also on youtube 😉
28:17 i got that whole sequence with Johny with a good relationship with him, that part is night and day when you got a bad relation with him
This is definitely one the most depressing and painful endings I've ever experienced. Yet somehow it's humbling, very realistic and interesting. Instead of dying with purpose, fullfilled, in a blaze of glory V is now fated to "live" in obscurity, lost and alone. Heartbreaking when I played it myself. V's voice acting especially when she discovered she survived the surgery but lost everything else. The way Cherami Leigh is able to convey emotions through her voice cracking just pulls on my heartstrings, truly.
Offscreen or not, I think it's worth checking out this same route done by someone who has played and imported their main game V. As others have implied in the comment section, things turn out substantially different when V has established long and thorough relationships with all relevant characters. Like you mentioned yourself, you didn't have access to all the additional dialogue with everyone you made friends with in your main game: Johnny, Judy, Panam, River, Misty, even Delamain. It adds even more weight to this ending if you can imo.
Though everyone can obviously play V however they want I personally believe this path showcases that even though one could start over not everyone will manage to do so. Life goes one but I actually don't think V would and could in this timeline. She might end up living the rest of her life depressed; a shell of what she was, actually lacking the strength to bounce back and create something new. If you had this ending with a main game import I think there's even more evidence she would lose hope and give up. Having burned all her bridges (Reed isn't really our friend, Misty is gone and Vik is off someplace else, the latter lost in a way too) I reckon V would find no purpose, live with regrets, slowly lose willpower and wither away in the crowd.
I dont see you completed a good friendship Johnny. You should have to defeat Adam Smasher first with Rogue. Then you have to call Reed, and Johnny will accept your choices.
From what I remember after finishing The Killing Moon quest but before going on the AV surgery, if you wait long enough you'll receive a physical postcard at your appartment originating from Monte Carlo. It's from Alex. As she wanted to retire there.
There's also an additional face-to-face interaction with Alex if you don't hand over Songbird to Reed at the space shuttle, and before that, never side with Reed regarding So Mi at all (and support her every step of the way).
