Patch 1.5 just rolled out for Cyberpunk 2077 and it ads the long-awaited NEXT GEN Console Update including Ray Tracing (4K, 30 FPS) and Performance mode (4K, 60 FPS).

  1. A VRR Mode like the flight simulator did would be perfect for the RT Version. Normally locked at 30fps but with enabled VRR you get an open frame rate. I think the average frame rate would be around 40. This would be nice.

  2. Just bought an RTX 3080 the other day and gotta say the ray tracing is kinda cool I guess but that performance hit is unreal. Ended up just turning it off and playing at ultra settings. Bottom line, don’t feel like you’re missing out if you aren’t ray tracing. Question for the console players, curious if you’re using performance or ray tracing mode when playing.
