Quest Director plays Cyberpunk 2077 #78!

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

After a few major announcements in regard of the Phantom Liberty expansion, we sat down together to go over all the exciting news, and well, didn’t play the game at all, because talking about everything took way too much time.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  2. im so hyped for next update and expansion 😍

but im concerned about the new PC req. its not cool towards users with weaker PC's, where they were able to play game "just fine" on low settings and with the new req game is gonna be unplayable for them due to bad performance, so they gonna be left without a game that they paid for, i hope you chooms have some plan how to solve this out like "low end pc mode" or at least option to play the game version before patch just like you did with base witcher 3 and next get patch

  3. 55:30 "Everything that you see is from the game" I think I know what you mean? The trailer looks AMAZING 😻, but I'm also managing my expectations… because there are so many gorgeous cinematic shots in the trailer (that I would love to see in the expansion) but I know the game doesn't typically use cinematics like that because it's locked in FPP. The trailer is full of things like wide establishing shots, push-in shots, over-the-shoulder shots, tilt shots, arc shots, etc. E.g. the first shot of Songbird is a push-in shot; the second is an arc shot (camera orbits around her); the scene of Myers and Songbird uses over-the-shoulder shots, etc., etc. I'm assuming those are all cinematics produced purely for the trailer?

I remember the edgerunners update trailer did a similar thing so I'm just curious about the choice to use TPP cinematics in the marketing, when the game is almost entirely FPP?

Anyway, just a thought that popped into my head – can't wait to play this! 😎

  4. Really appreciate the work done on cyberpunk. I've played since release on console and have loved it. The world and characters pull you in line no other. Happy to see the game get its flowers ❤

  5. I love how happy Pawel looks when watching the Phantom Liberty trailer. You and everyone have done such a great job with not only Cyberpunk 2077, but Phantom Liberty looks awesome and I’ve already pre ordered 💛 cannot wait to play in September

  6. Glad that I got some questions answered in the stream, but would love one more. Has the handling of the vehicles changed at all? I don’t like how the car reacts to braking sometimes. Wish traffic lights and traffic in general worked properly so I could immerse myself sometimes.

  7. People think too fondly of Witcher 3, at the time CDPR was not known to most folks and they didn't expect such good quality etc
But Witcher 3 story pales in comparison to Witcher 2, which is so tight and intriguing and has amazing choices
Witcher 3 is very loose as a story, is largely copying the books so not that original as well, and the Wild Hunt plot was just screwed over, you don't feel anything about them elves
The choices from Witcher 2 were badly handled, there's no economy in the game that was promised and so much else

  10. Great job Pawel, the expansion and new mechanics look great, preordered it already… Just… Make sure to keep it up so that we dont have anymore bad launched in the future 😉 sadly i have to disagree with female voice actress winning anything, to my mind female voice acting is all over the place for female V, outright cringe to my ears. I find the make version much better.

  11. Choom, it's been a while since I tuned into these streams. Been really busy, and also.. my account got hacked a while back so I had to make a new one. The wait for Phantom Liberty and Patch 1.7 is going to kill me but I think I'll survive 😉 I've been getting that Cyberpunk 'itch' recently and I was planning another playthrough soon but after watching all these interviews and hearing about the changes and overhauls to the core game, I'm gonna have to wait until September for a fresh playthrough. Already pre-ordered. I'm almost at 3,000 hours total, across 10+ playthroughs so far. One of the best games of all time just keeps getting better, thanks to you maniacs working behind the scenes! 🤙🏽🎸 Bless you, Pawel, and the rest of CDPR team.

  12. You are way too humble when you say you deserved the backlash. Cheramy definitely deserved the award, no matter what issues the game might have on other aspects, her performance is right up there with Jennifer Hale's Femshep
