Quest Director plays Cyberpunk 2077 #66!

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

We have opened up the stream with good game development discussion and played more Cyberpunk 2077 just after and finished one of the quests I have worked on — the Blistering Love.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  1. Just dropping by to say I've been loving experimenting with different builds. Playing a stealthy pistol/blades nomad now and I still see things I missed on previous playthroughs. Love this game.

  2. Thought a cool idea would be to sell cars. Frustrating scrolling for the car you want after you own them all. Maybe even two or three dropdowns from vehicle menus such as bikes and cars could help organize

  3. finished "Both Sides, Now" for the sixth time and realized this is just such a masterpiece… short quest, but an important part of why Cyberpunk is so beautiful in its melancholy. love Judy ;_; <3

  4. Fun fact regarding existentialism: There was an article about Witcher 2 in the german newspaper Die ZEIT a few years ago. The opener of this article dealt with the topic of existentialism – in one scene of the game the dwarves and elves use the names of "Kierkegaard" and "Heidegger" in a slightly different variation as passwords. Why? Because the game is about choices, ethical dilemmas and the following consequences. And this is exactly what existentialism is about. That is what catched my attention first and in the long run (among other things) made me a fan of CD Projekt RED. I love that your games always have a deep subtext.

  5. Some really cool topics Regarding open world fatigue. I love well made open worlds But allot games are just really lacking. Looking at a game like Calisto Which did not do well, It seems like EA were Right about people not wanting to buy linear games. I have question on if you Think we will see less New IPS due to how expensive games are to make? Also How do you see open world design evolving with the next generation of consoles.

  6. Hi Pawel I know this is unrelated but a Cyberpunk GTA Online style multiplayer would be bigger than GTA Online in itself I'm a big gta fan and I played Cyberpunk and my mind is going with all sorts of possibilities the fact the game is in the future really raises the potential with gta it's limited to reality but Cyberpunk you can go crazy hope to see Cyberpunk grow and grow! <3

  7. despite who`s side you pick – Evelin or Dexter, you don`t get any money at all, 30% from zero is still zero. Who the f designed that and thought that players will like the fact that ingame choises have no rewards?

  8. Someone mentioned Thronebreaker. It truly is a beautiful and a good game. It's a pity that concept of small Witcher tales games was abandoned. As long as those games had a heart put in them, they'd turn out good. Yet, Rogue Mage was a mistake since it doesn't tell the story we all crave for. The setting is brilliant, Alzur as a legendary Mage can be done extremely great if CDPR writing team would work on him.

    Waiting for CP2077PP – it's a next gen seller for me 🙂

  9. Thank you for the stream, Pawel! Very inspiring as always!
I enjoy the longer gamedev talk at the beginning, we really need special just chatting streams (and a Narrative Council comeback) 😀

  10. Hi, Paweł!

I'm a recent fan of the game (I played it in December of last year) since I was unable to play during launch. I just wanted to thank you, as well as your co-workers at CDPR, for the work you have done on this game! Seeing the amount of abuse the devs have gotten online over this game's launch is frustrating as a fan, and I can only imagine how much more frustrating it is for you, but I hope you know that your game is loved and appreciated by many, myself included.

I adore what CDPR has done with the world of Night City, and in a way, it has become a second home for me. The characters are some of the most realistic I have seen in a game, from their personalities to their behaviors, and they are part of the reason why I find myself returning to Night City near daily.

I can't accurately put into words just how much this game means to me, and just how much it has impacted me, but I hope I can somewhat convey the feeling through this comment. It has made me laugh, and cry, and has most importantly made me analyze who I am, what I believe, and what the people around me mean to me. Thank you for such a beautiful and heartbreaking experience. I will cherish this game until the day I die.

I have not caught up with all the streams yet (I'm only on part 3!) but I will be sure to watch every video you upload to learn more about the world that you and your co-workers have created for us. Thank you again for everything! <3 I'm excited to see what CDPR does with the next adventure in the world of Cyberpunk.

  11. @Pawel Sasko Pawel PLEASE answer, how do we understand what we solved FF:06:B5? I'm pretty sure it's a side quest. But what should happen? Will the screen go dark? Will we lose consciousness? Kiss Judy? 😉 After all, we can do something and not even understand that this is connected with FF:06:B5, isnt? How do we understand that solved is EXACTLY FF:06:B5?
