After doing the first job for the Peralez couple I have been contacted to do another job for them – a quest called “Dream on”! So I have embarked on the journey to find out who is behind the whole conspiracy.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG that I have co-created. As I love talking about design, storytelling, and psychology in games, I have started streaming on Twitch and discussing it all with my audience.

My goal is to share everything I have learned over a decade in the AAA games industry, openly exchange ideas, explain creative decisions and encourage the next generation of game designers and storytellers to create.

  16. This entire questline is the epitome of classic cyberpunk storytelling. There’s obviously something much deeper going on but you can’t really affect anything and the quest leaves you wanting more as the hidden entities that are controlling everything from the shadows are simply too powerful for V at this point in the story.

    If you become the top merc in NC after taking on arasaka with the help of rogue or single-handedly, then you attract the attention of these illuminati-like big players who offer you help with the chip in exchange for doing the crystal palace job. What do they want? Why are they controlling politicians? How do they have tech this advanced? Is the blue-eyes faction super powerful AIs like Alt from beyond the blackwall?

    We are confronted with all these reality-shattering, tinfoil, conspiracy theory questions and then forced to experience it from a regular merc’s perspective. This conflict of trying to do something to change the current state of affairs in NC while being utterly powerless in the face of overwhelming control and corruption in my opinion is what elevates this side story to one of the best in the whole game.

    Even if this storyline isn’t expanded on in the future, I love the implications this currently has on the overall state of the world of cyberpunk 2077 where nothing is what it seems and you can never really get to the root of everything.

    P.S. – Eagerly waiting for the next update and subsequent expansions, this game has the potential to be better than tw3 which is currently my favourite game of all time.

  17. Mr. Sasko, can you tell why Male V is so short (camera so low). Everyone is taller then him, even females. Is it because only one camera height for both male and female and for cdpr female is canon even when majority plays male (i guess 70-80 percent) ?

  19. I was the one who asked data analyst question 😄 I'm a senior student in Statistics department and last year I saw that CDPR was hiring senior data analyst for Cyberpunk and I really wonder what they are working on in daily basis. Even though it's not your field, thanks for the answer ^^
