  1. Rest assured, Juliette. I will be running this, however I cannot assure I will hear it at all. The tow truck driver won't stop yammering, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. What a chatterbox!

Yes, yes, I'm sure, yes…. I'm on with Australia! OK? Brother.

  2. 1:35 yes! I know this was recorded ahead of time but glad to see that you are going to the side jobs with Perlezes, River, Judy, and Panam. Because that what I did in my first playthrough before I went to Takemura in Japantown. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. I've done four full playthroughs and I've never once played a male character. Partially because the voice acting isn't as good, but mostly because you can't romance Judy as a male. This guy needs to hear The Bells of Laguna Bend at least once in my playthroughs.

  4. I was also in love with Judy too. But I romance Panam first since I played male V first. But when I did a female V on my next playthrough. I romance Judy. And itโ€™s so hard to choose on what your best romance is. They did a great job of the relationships. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿซถ

  5. Has a date with Judy. Shows up 8 hours early. I don't blame you, Jules. Not one bit. Hahaha

Thanks for another extra long episode! It really helps my day fly by! Have a great one!

  6. Yes! A nice long video, my favourite kind!

You couldn't pay me enough money to go diving, I'm a huge chicken when it comes to water, a bath is about my limit! ๐Ÿ˜‚

35:22 The song that starts playing here is very reminiscent of Teardrop by Massive Attack (both are excellent songs).

So I've now finished my playthrough and I have to say that I loved this game. I did come across a couple of bugs towards the end that meant I couldn't complete a couple of the gigs, which was unfortunate, but not something I'm really bothered by.

I'm curious to see what ending you'll choose when the time comes. I was very happy with the ending I got, it included characters that I loved, ended on a note of optimism (maybe they all do?) and wrapped up the story nicely.

You've probably heard this a million times by now but thanks for being so awesome and creating such great videos.

  7. Yay, Judy's relationship arch is lovely. Oh and don't worry about your bike freezing up. Developers put in a 'feature' when approaching major story arcs in a vehicle so you can't go speeding into the area on your bike or in a car, potentially running over key NPCs

  8. I can't understand why you hesitated about telling the truth to Perales. Don't you want to know if someone is brainwashing and literally erasing you even if it's very dangerous?

  9. I giggled so much when you and Judy hooked up xD

Told you that Peralez quest was a doozy!!

Coupla quick tips – pick up all of those shards you're ignoring! All kinds of story flavor in those, a lot of which tie into the quests you're on at the time.

Also, use your perks and attribute points!! You can speed up your quickhacks big time, and if you want to really try a non-lethal stealth build you'll need to beef up your cyberdeck and quickhacks. Go for stuff like Short Circuit, Reboot Optics, etc. Use Target Analysis optic mods. Pax mods on your weapons (non lethal rounds). You can even get Tranq darts for arm missiles – although you'd have to replace your Mantis blades to do it.

  10. Pyramid Song is one of the coolest "missions" in a video game. Beautiful, hypnotic, meditative, and I love the song. I figured you'd like it.

By the way, besides in your inventory screen, you can also see yourself in Photo Mode (L3+R3). You can see yourself swimming around underwater in the wetsuit in Pyramid Song that way, too.

  11. Pyramid song is one of if not the most beautiful quest in the game. Also Juliette now you can sleep at Judy's apartment and talk to her and everything its amazing!

  13. Told you you would find that experience with Judy a beautiful and heart wrenching experience. The title "Pyramid Song" of the gig is based on an actual song that also served as inspiration for this event. Music is entirely different, but it is meant to convey the same feel.

So Peralez is attempting to win the election without becoming a pawn to the Corps who actually run the city.

Eric Boucher says that Peralez had been erratic in positions as of late (also can be noticed in the news commercials and outlets if you went out of your way to watch all of them. As his wife said, they are actually winning the election on the position of being strict on Corpos, but his staff have notice irregular opinions coming out of him.)

Eric also noticed that a person that Peralez fired (it was discovered that she was leaking info to the Corpos and was also approving ads that Peralez said no to) is back on the payroll, doing the same thing as before, without Peralez remembering that he fired her. Peralez also has a change of opinion regarding Lea's work ethic.

Wife also apparently has memory problems now? Remembers Blue Roses when the picture clearly shows red?

    First mention of BLUE agents.

Wallace is apparently working with BLUE agents, while he is also involved with security for Peralez's opponent Holt.

So the van being used by SSI and the BLUE agents goes to a location where a bunch of Maelstrom are keeping guard?

If you were able to approach the van in the original place undetected, you would have seen agents running from the van to eventually get away on an invisible flying car. Them getting away is what alerted whoever was using the van that it was compromised. And if you go back to that same spot later on during the night, you will see a bunch of Maelstrom meeting with some suits and being very respectful to the suits (which does not seem in character for them.)

Also, near Misty's you will see a homeless person who is constantly spouting nonsense like aliens and vampires. It is interesting the things he has to say if you keep going back to him and donating generously. It is really interesting what happens to him if you visit him enough times to hear all he has to say.

You have Arasaka who wants to copy people onto engrams and use the engrams to change people that way when the engrams are reinserted like Johnny is doing to you, and you have some unknown entity who is manipulating memories directly. Both of which are using technology from decades back, from just before Bartmoss crashing the Net.

There are a LOT of conspiracies wrapped around this, and the rabbit hole goes very deep (and will likely go even deeper once Phantom Liberty comes out). When you are done with the game, do a youtube search on Cyberpunk Blue Eyes.

It is sad, that the Peralezes were trying to win by not becoming a puppet to others, and were actively doing everything they could to remain free, but apparently someone found a way to make them their puppets anyway. Pay attention to the aftercredits when you finish the game to see what happened to Peralez.

  14. Judy is a magical character, and I'm so glad you found the double jump implants! I wanted to recommend them when you mentioned you explored more on foot but didn't want to spoil ๐Ÿค

  15. Dream On is my fav quest in the game, it is so engaging.
And also that person watching you from the balcony at the end.
And after you follow the van, out of the corner of your eye you can notice an invisible AV to where the people from the van run to, it's very easy to miss.

  16. Judy is so nice, because of her I'm going to play as a female in my next playthrough. I loved the romance with Panam as a male V, but want to get the experience with Judy too. In real life I would never go diving, heck no, but that whole diving sequence with Judy is one of my favourites in the game. And I like that Peralez mission a lot, it's like a mystery to solve. This was a great episode, thanks Juliette.

  17. This Peralez quest is one of my favorites, lots of mystery and suspense. For me the decision at the end came down to factoring the worst case scenario; tell Jefferson the truth, let him fight and even possibly die BUT die AS Jefferson Peralez OR be an identity less slave mayor to someone/something to be controlled as a puppet. That said, I also can't blame Elizabeth for her point of view as the wife of Jefferson that she rather have him be safe as a slave to a higher power than be dead.
