  2. Doesn’t matter what sequel CDPR add or make, the game is still broken , i.e Hacking still broken and police system still extremely broken.
Let’s hope project Orion doesn’t add a police system because they clearly can’t implement it correctly.
It will probably end up like Cyberpunk 2077, just another Bullet Sponge Looter Shooter but with a good story.

  3. I sincerely hope they focus more on the "RPG" aspect of the game than trying to tug at my heartstrings with unavoidable emotional situations. Dragon Age Origins is the best template for Choice and Consequences.

  4. Maybe an unpopular opinion but i think they should just make a smaller map but more interactive and focus on differents story path depending on your choice and that’s just enough to live up to the hype

  5. I hope they learned from their mistakes and make this game for PC first and don't try to make it run on age old consoles, bringing the whole project down. By the time the game comes out, it might be time for a new generation of consoles, so I'm worried they'll fall into the same trap of trying to make it available on as many platforms as possible.

  6. Admittedly, I love the lore and writing in Control and loved learning about the foundation, and the other writers on board have real good talent and track record! I'm excited to see what they'll all be able to accomplish with the polish dev teams and Mike Pondsmith!

What I'm terrified of is this game getting watered down for "general audiences" or being affected by current US Politics and agendas.
I just want what made 2077 so special to be translated into the next game honestly, and I don't want it to be affected by whats plaguing the current industry.

  7. Unless CDPR decouples from Vanguard/Blackrock and ends their enthusiasm for ESG and DEI, they might have a tough time convincing customers their games isn’t infected by modern day politics. You know , that thing killing other games right out of the gate.

Latest example is Rocksteady’s “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”. Another example is Bethesda’s “Starfield”, or what about Volition the studio that got shut down because their game was ‘modern day’ trash.

It might be CDPR thought hiring woke activists isn’t going to have an impact on the quality of the story, the world, the mechanics of their game. Wrong, you don’t hire people based on their sexuality, their race or political views. Rather, you hire based on skill and merit. If talent goes out the window, so does quality.

Sometimes I wonder if greed rots the brain of the CEOs and managers…

Edit. We’ll see what happens with “Witcher 4”. If it turns to trash, we know the same thing will happen with “Cyberpunk 2” (Projekt Orion). Seeing them hire clowns in the US/Canada doesn’t give me the impression they’re looking for talent. 😐
