It what i always wanted
Oh my, these VR mods just get better and better! Not to mention how much money these companies would make if they would just implement VR into their game themselves. Thanks for the video Ian, hilarious as always! 😀
Had an incredible time with this mod!
It's incredibly well optimised and I'm actually considering a complete VR playthrough, that's how good it is.
Uploaded my own quick 3 minute review of its functionality and performance if anyone is interested, great video as always Ian!
How do the sex scenes look in VR?
The "rare iguana" is hilarious to me. We got these thing falling out of trees here in South Florida. Just started this game. I finally got to chapter 2 last night.
Man, this is awesome – performance aside (not the Modders fault at all) this does look fun as hell 😂
Literally playing it this morning, thinking "This would be so cool in vr"
about the 3rd person view …
when you have a VR set on .. wouldnt that actually be 2nd person then?
Love the vr play.
will YT de-monetize for nsfw?
This is a lot less glitchy than I expected, given some of the weird stuff Cyberpunk does with the camera. I have that weird framerate tank thing every so often on my computer too with the base game & I'm not sure why, but it clears itself if I stand still for a couple of minutes (until it happens again). Doesn't seem to have anything to do with what's going on or how busy the area is, though that does hit the framerate in a different way.
Sorry, not familiar with your channel… I assume this is a PC thing… could you share what headset you are using? A lot of people complain about this game but I loved it…the idea of re-experiencing Night City in VR is pretty exciting to me, but I dont have the gear yet… thanks, nice video! 🙂
I loved Cyberpunk, I am going to have to try this! VR cyberpunk would be so cool!
Is Night City ready for the Greml-Ian?
So happy to see this video ^^
So much lag
Love your Phasmaphobia game plays. Have you three ever thought of playing the bigfoot hunting game? Just heard it had an update. Thought I'd suggest it.
I think Digital Foundry pointed out that area at around 30:15 as one of the worst (if not THE worst) performing areas in the whole game, so they were using it for their tests on the 1.5 patch. The VR mod looks fun, it's a shame about not being able to see the weapon/armor stats easily! I haven't installed the mod yet, I wanted to make sure it won't gunk up my current main save (I've not finished the game yet), but at least in normal flatmode the game is performing fine with ray tracing maxed out (and DLSS on of course) with my 3070TI.
However, for whatever reason, I get bad slowdown on the map screen– but not always. It's weird and annoying but I assume in VR the map screen would be a slideshow.
Is DLSS doing much in VR with this mod? Or is there reasons it's not compatible and whatnot?
Ian, how is it that watching you play can be even more entertaining than playing the game myself?!? Another awesome video, thank you so much!
Go to the PC Community to do something amazing
The whole iguana thing gives me Bladeunner vibes…along with the backdrop to be honest!
Just press 5 on you numpad playing this video. That is what we all came for.
The area at 30:10 (the market behind Tom's Diner) is one of the worst performing areas in the game. It's incredibly CPU intensive, especially with RT on too, so I was expecting a slowdown, though not by this much. I've seen some of the strongest PCs drop FPS there.
And that framerate tank thing happens when you max out your VRAM (at least in my instance). Like Ian said, a way to fix it is to restart but it will happen again. To permanently fix it, you need to tweak your settings (resolution, graphics, etc.) so that your stay under your VRAM limits.
Thanks for this. This game got so much negative press, deservedly so, for their initial release, but there is a good game there and I'm hoping more people give it a shot.
i think the word youre looking for in the title is Immersive
<< Peace be with you >>
Can't believe that this game was made by the people who made the Witcher 3.
Clearly they skimped on the writers for this game. Maybe they skimped on everything considering the launch but the writitng especially seems totally uninspired and robotic with barely any personality or charm to the characters speaking the dialogue, and don't even get me started on the story.
Full immersion VR with motion stuff might make this game more palatable but at this point, until this game drops under $10 I'm not getting it.
CDPR better not fuck up the Witcher 3 PS5 launch or I'm officially done with them.
I'll tell you something about VR.
I played Skyrim for 10 years since Day 1 and thought I've seen everything in it. First time I played it in VR I noticed many details for the first time. VR is that much different, gives you a whole new perspective of the game.
