  1. ill just wait. taking a break from this game and coming back after a few months gives it that fresh new feel, more so than ever with the overhauls that'll force you to relearn a lot of mechanics and potential builds.

plus there's starfield and other cool games coming out before phantom liberty so we'll all be occupied until then.

  2. This may sound crazy to some, but I played the entire game on release ps4 without the day 1 patch for 80% of it. Thing is it was undeniably a mess, but the fact i still finished it says enough. There was a lot i loved but it was difficult to be fully immersed. Point being they've put in a LOT of work into turning this into what it was meant to be and i love it, the biggest mistake CDPR made was releasing it too early the core has always been great they just didint have enough time to round off the edges and polish it. Im super excited to replay the entire game with all the changes, reworks, bug fixes and on a ps5 with whats looking to be an amazing dlc, i feel like im finally about to play what we were promised i cant wait

  3. I got CP2077 when it released, played through some of the prologue but I was on an older console and suffered greatly from performance issues, along with the bugs. I recently came back and started a fresh game on the Series X after 1.63 and had been having a blast. I've gotten to the point of no return where you meet Tagawa at the Embers Hotel. I went back and finished up all the side missions and gigs and am ready to move forward.

I've been wondering at this point if I should just go ahead and finished the game and then, when PL releases, start fresh or just do the PL content after that or should I wait till PL releases before continuing.

  4. Cyberpunk is missing its act 1. I just want a DLC that adds 10 hours of world and character building before the big heist.. (as it was most likely intended). Introducing characters, gangs and factions. Building reputation and making friends… before everything goes to hell.

  5. It’s way better to wait in my opinion. The police system is almost non existent and the introduction of one will completely change the side quests and general objective structure for the better. Can’t wait to play the finished version it’s way closer to what we were promised. It’s going to be epic.

  9. 2 runs: one with weapons…. hard to get by. second run, netrunner,,,, did all side missions to ramp up my stats and my netrunning and basically become an untouchable god and can probably breeze thru the story my eyes closed. Netrunning is insanely fun in this game. I hope it is not nerfed up too much.

  11. Is it just me or is the Voice actor from Cyberpunk 2077 and The Darkness (Game on the 360 made by 2k) the same person? I didn't notice til now when I heard the guy say Jackie. Made me think of the protagonist in The Darkness Jackie Estacado.

  12. That the requirements are being increased is a slap in the face, always bears mentioning what this game was like on release Neon. You are being far too much a fanboy in both your expectations and review of this games history. It is considered the worst launch of any game, this expansion should be free.

  13. I’m glad I’ve waited, mostly stayed away from spoilers. Bought the game on PS4 when PS5 was difficult to get, played for maybe an hr before I was too disappointed to continue. Patches came by, bought the game for PS5 and it just wasn’t it for me. Many issues were fixed and many remained, but the city felt dead and didn’t get my attention. Now, I have a PC with a 4070 and can’t wait for the reboot.

  14. Didn't get the game at release and forgot about it till I heard about the changes coming with phantom liberty, after reviews I plan on getting the game in September to experience what should have been released the first time around.

  15. Evening my friend. I gave the game a rest for 8 months and was very pleased when I started again two weeks ago after 1.6 patch. Just finished the last NCPD quest leaving me with nothing to do other than wander the streets daring anyone to try and mug me as well as finding all those Easter Eggs I missed. Played two endings (the secret and Rogue endings) just to drag it out. Always feel sad at this point, like with Witcher 3 and Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. I want to continue but there is nothing left to do. One thing I liked about Assassin Creed Odyssey was that the War continues and the little side quests regenerated. My one and only play through lasted 978 hours because I could still do things in that world.

Now on the plus side at least with Cyberpunk starting afresh doesn't feel a chore (8 playthroughs now and over 1300 hours) but it does end. Phantom Liberty will bring more so that, I hope 250 hours + is possible. Orion is so far in the future and there is no guarantee (although I hope so) you can transfer your V character across.

I'm tossing up whether to start another game now or wait until 2.0 at least drops. I want to play Phantom Liberty as my favourite background (Corpo) but I have a hankering to do a nomad run and pick up that iguana egg (which I only recently learned you could do). Ah decisions.

Bit disappointed my i7 can no longer handle ultra gaming but at least the 3080 is still good for a little while yet.

    Stay cool Choom.

  16. Personally I just want to finish leveling my 3rd character before starting a new one and I’m not gonna start a new one until PL comes out especially since one of the builds I want to try is a melee build and I can’t wait to deflect bullets with katanas!

  17. I’ve played this game for over 2 years, hundreds of hours, and several play throughs .. I’m taking a break for the next 2 months until PL and 2.0 drops..I really haven’t played it much over the last few months eirher, I’ve been trying some older games that I missed, right now I just bought death loop on sale and I’m really loving it right now, hopefully it’ll get me through til 9/26

  18. what I did was make 2 new characters get them pass the prologue b.s witch I think there will be no changes to the 2 new characters are just doing gigs and hustles just in case we get new game plus witch vary unlikely then I have the characters right at the start of the game and I suggest doing corpo and yes the nusa in cyberpunk is not corporate they are government in cyberpunk the USA sill has a government so heads up do not trun on nusa president if we get that choice

  19. super glad I watched this video. I started playing Cyberpunk again recently. I beat it a few months after launch after all the fixes were implemented and did as close to 100% of the game as someone could casually. took 76hrs. Now I'm doing my 2nd playthrough, I'm 60hrs in, done every missing on the map and literally just finished the missing at the black wall where — according to your video — PL picks up.

I'm going to leave that save right where it is and start a new game. I've been toying with the idea of trying a different build since my 1st and 2nd builds were nearly identical lol… glad I watched. awesome video.

  20. I'll wait for Phantom Liberty, but I'll probably start playing again when they release update 2.0., I am really intrested in the changes they are making, it will probably completely transform the game, so I want to wait until then. It's just a month after all.

  21. I played this game from day one on PC. It had a few problems, but they were fixed. Unless you played on consoles it was never different than most new games. What was different was the way critics all copied and pasted the few bad reviews over and over again. They didn't put in the work to even learn the game they just wanted to be first to get out their reviews on YouTube so they could get hits. CD project Red made a great game then and now. It is highly creative and entertaining. I have over 600 hrs in the game and I've enjoyed them all bugs or not.
